Halo: Personal Safety SOS
Family & neighbours, one tap
Only for iPhone

iPhone
Halo is an SOS button for the people close to you. One tap — and your family, neighbours or mutual-aid circle know at once and see where you are. Help comes from those who are nearby and can arrive in minutes.
Halo is not an emergency service: it does not call the police or an ambulance. If your life is in danger, call 112 or your local emergency number.
THREE CIRCLES THAT DON'T MIX
• Family — your closest people. Children can be added too.
• Home — neighbours in your building; the alarm is tied to your address.
• Mutual aid — those who are nearest.
An alarm goes only to the circle where it was raised.
HOW TO CALL FOR HELP
• The SOS button in Halo.
• Without opening the app: the “Halo Alarm” action for the Action button, Back Tap, or Siri (“Halo SOS”). Halo shows how to set it up.
Your location is attached to the alarm.
WHEN SOMEONE NEEDS HELP
• The alarm arrives as a time-sensitive notification with a siren sound, even when Halo is closed.
• If Halo is open, a red alarm screen with a siren appears.
• Tap “Accept” — the others see who is on the way.
• The map shows where the person is.
CHILDREN
A parent can ask where the child is: the child's iPhone shows a notification, and after a tap the location is sent. Children use Halo for free.
ALSO
• Event journal for each group.
• Light signal: SOS in Morse code with the flashlight or the screen.
• Invitations by code or link.
• No sign-up, phone number or e-mail. 8 languages.
PRICE
Receiving alarms and helping others is always free. Sending alarms from this phone needs a subscription: monthly or yearly, the first 14 days free. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS
• If your iPhone is on silent, the alarm notification arrives without sound.
• The red screen appears only while Halo is open; otherwise the alarm comes as a notification.
• There are no triggers by voice phrase, impact or volume buttons — iOS does not allow them; use the Action button, Back Tap or Siri instead.
• The iPhone version does not record audio and does not search via Bluetooth.
• A child's iPhone has no connection monitoring, and a location request is answered when the child taps the notification.
