Tock: Talking Timer

Timer, stopwatch & metronome

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Tock is a timer that talks, so you can stop glancing at the clock. Spin the wheels, tap Start, and get on with it. Tock tells you the time as it passes: when it starts, on the interval you choose, at halfway, in the last minute and a final countdown. THREE FRIENDS, THREE MODES • Tock, the timer: spoken updates as often as you like, from once an hour down to every second • Tick, the stopwatch: counts up and reads every lap split aloud • Bop, the metronome: 30 to 260 BPM, rock steady, with wood block, clave, click, beep or a voice that counts "1, 2, 3, 4". Tap any beat to accent it, or tap along to set the tempo MADE FOR • Deep work and pomodoros • Workouts, planks and intervals • Cooking with busy hands • Music practice • Time blindness and ADHD • Talks and meetings TOCK+ (7 days free, then $9 a year, or $29 once for lifetime) • Keeps talking with your phone locked • Countdown on your Lock Screen • All voices, speeds and styles • Speaks as often as every second • Count down from 10, with your own ending • All time signatures in Tempo Private by design: no account, no ads, no tracking.
