Choose from six very different vehicles, each with its own speed, acceleration, handling, grip and off-road ability:
• Zippy – a nimble go-kart that turns on a dime
• Thunder V8 – a classic muscle car with huge straight-line speed
• Ridgeback 4x4 – a full-size pickup that shrugs off the grass
• Dirt Hawk – a rally car that's quick everywhere
• Veloce GT – a mid-engine supercar
• Apex Formula – the fastest thing on four wheels
Every engine sounds different – from the kart's buzz to the V8's rumble and the formula car's scream – and you'll hear it change gear as you race.
Then take on three computer drivers who follow the racing line, brake for corners and fight for every position. Race three laps around:
• Bay Esplanade – flat out along the beach, then back through town
• Harbor Loop – along the marina, past the pier, round the chicane
• Sunset Speedway – a flat-out oval
• Mountain Pass – twisty hairpins
• Canyon Zigzag – straights joined by tight hairpins
