Deepstep is a calm, turn-based cave digging puzzle game: guide a little mole in a hard hat, mine sparkling gems and dodge falling rocks on your way to the exit. Nothing moves until you do. Rocks fall, gems roll and beetles crawl only when your mole takes a step, so you always have time to think. No timer, no lives, and every mistake can be undone. Inspired by the classic cave-digging games, Deepstep turns the idea into a relaxing logic puzzle you solve at your own pace. Every level is hand-made and hides a clever way through. HOW TO PLAY • Swipe to move your mole one square: every swipe is one step • Dig through soil and collect enough gems to open the exit • Rocks and gems fall when nothing is below them, and roll off round things • Step under a resting rock from the side, but never walk straight down beneath it • A falling gem is harmless: stand below it and catch it • Push a rock sideways when there is room behind it • Beetles follow the tunnels with their left hand on the wall; a little arrow shows where each one goes next • Tap Wait to let the world move without you 100 LEVELS, 1,000 METERS DEEP • Ten chapters, each with its own idea: Soft Soil, Stone Caves, Crystal Depths, Lava Caverns, Mushroom Grotto, Frozen Caves, Coral Grotto, Fossil Halls, Glowworm Caves and the Heart of the Earth • Every level teaches or tests one idea, from your first tunnel to tricky beetle chases • Each level takes you 10 meters deeper on the depth map • Earn up to 3 stars by finishing in as few moves as possible HELP WHEN YOU WANT IT • Unlimited undo, even after you get crushed • Hints show your next move and take you back if you went the wrong way (a hinted finish earns up to 2 stars) • 2 free hints in every level; an optional short video gives you more, or skips a level you are stuck on • A rock that is about to fall wobbles, so danger is easy to spot • Restart a level anytime A BRAIN GAME WITHOUT THE RUSH • No reflexes needed: in this mining puzzle, planning beats speed • Short levels for a quick break, with enough depth to make you stop and think • Made for fans of logic puzzles, strategy puzzles, mining games and digging games • Play at your own pace: no energy bar, no waiting FOR EVERYONE • Big buttons, clear pictures and no time pressure, for young and old players alike • Cute, colorful art, a calm cave soundtrack and gentle haptics • Works fully offline: no Wi-Fi or sign-up needed • Optional one-time "Remove ads" purchase: no ads, free hints and level skips • Online: global star leaderboard and cloud save with a guest account, no sign-up • 9 languages: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Indonesian
