Design your own cruise ships, launch them, and watch real guests live on deck. Start with a little ferry in 1965 and build a fleet that crosses the Atlantic.
Cruise Ship Tycoon is a game about running a cruise line, from a single worn-out ferry to a fleet of great ships.
You start in 1965 in Miami with a small ship, a little money and a lot of sea. Choose a cruise, pick the ports, set the ticket prices and send her out. Then keep going: the game runs through the decades, from the jet age to modern mega-resorts, and the ships you can build change with every era.
DESIGN YOUR OWN SHIPS
Lay out the decks room by room: cabins, restaurants, theatres, pools, casinos, spas. Shape the hull, pick the engines, add lifeboats and sprinklers, and paint her in your own colours. A ship that is balanced and seaworthy sails. One that is not, will tell you why. Later in the game you can fit big attractions such as a glass dome theatre, a ten-deck slide or a rope-bridge walk.
SEE THEM SAIL
Every ship is a real 3D model. Launch her from the slipway, watch her towed into the dry dock for a refit, follow her across the sea at sunset, and walk her decks. Watch the guests swim, queue for the slide, relax in the sun and chat about the trip.
SAIL THE WORLD
Plan cruises from Miami and other home ports to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the Pacific coast and the North Atlantic. Open an office in New York or Southampton and sell a crossing to Europe. Ports have their own character and their own seasons.
THE SEA IS NOT ALWAYS KIND
Storms, ice, fires, pirates, engine trouble and medical emergencies can all find your ships. Decide what to do, take the helm yourself in the little mini-games, or hire good crew and let them handle it. Every ship keeps her own story: her voyages, her guests, her good days and her bad ones.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
Captain mode keeps things simple and calm: four big buttons (My Ships, Cruises, the Captain's Log and Watch guests), clear speeds and good news first in the newspaper. Tycoon mode opens the whole company: prices, crew, finance, the stock market, rivals and mergers. You can switch at any time.
COLLECT AND EARN
Earn the Captain's medals, fill the ship catalogue with every class you build, keep an album of photographs, and read the Miami Clarion for the headlines you made.
FREE AND PRIVATE
Cruise Ship Tycoon is free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no accounts. The game never connects to the internet and collects nothing: your saved game stays on your iPad.
