An AI-powered translation and writing assistant for Safari. Supports webpage translation, selected text translation, writing enhancement, and more. Helps you access information more easily and break down language barriers. How to Start: 1. Open Duo Translator for Safari once after installing. 2. In Safari, go to Settings > Extensions and turn on Duo Translator for Safari. 3. Click the extension icon in the toolbar and choose "Always Allow on Every Website". Features: Webpage Translation: 1. Bilingual layout by default, helping you better understand the original content and improve your reading experience. 2. Quickly translate and restore pages with the floating ball, keyboard shortcuts, or context menu. 3. Detects the page language and translates it automatically. 4. Customize the translation style, including background color, text color, border style, and border color. Bilingual Highlighting: 1. Highlights the original and translation sentence by sentence, helping you better understand long-form content and quickly identify complex, difficult, or mistranslated sentences. 2. Simply hover over the original text or translation to trigger it. 3. Customize the highlight style, including border style, border color, background color, and text color. Paragraph and Selection Translation: 1. Quickly translate any paragraph without manually selecting the entire text. 2. Selected Text Translation lets you listen to and quickly copy both the original text and the translation. 3. Trigger it with a double-tap of Control or Option, a keyboard shortcut, or the context menu. AI Writing: 1. Correct grammar, polish, translate, and more directly in input boxes. 2. Enable whitelist mode to run it only on the websites you need. 3. Open the dedicated AI workbench to edit long-form text and review the output more easily. Video Subtitles: 1. YouTube bilingual subtitles. 2. Customize subtitle style. Multiple Translation and AI Service Integrations: 1. Built-in translation services include Microsoft, Google, and DeepL. 2. Supports multiple AI service providers, as well as local and custom models. Others: 1. Sync your settings with WebDAV, or import and export them as local files. 2. Website translation rules: per-site translate areas, no-translate areas and custom CSS. Privacy: Duo Translator is free and open source. There is no account and no server of our own, and we never collect your personal data. Text is sent only to the translation or AI service you choose.
