Dataplicity Visitors turns an iPad into a clear, welcoming sign-in point for your workplace. Visitors check themselves in, complete any induction your organisation requires, and choose their name when it is time to leave.
Built for the foyer
A calm, dark interface, large touch targets and clear steps help guests get on with their visit. Designed for a shared iPad in portrait or landscape.
Your sign-in book, your questions
Collect the details your site needs. Ask for a mobile number or email, offer visit types and optional hosts, and add vehicle registration only when it matters. Photos can be off, optional or required, with a preview and an easy retake.
Induction as part of arrival
Include instructions, media, acknowledgements and quizzes for the visits that need them. Returning visitors can reuse a retained completion of the required induction version. Published versions and completion times stay with the record.
A quick goodbye
Visitors find their name in the active list and confirm checkout. Entries left open for three days are marked expired, keeping that distinct from a recorded departure.
Pair once. Manage from the web.
Enter the device's pairing code on the Dataplicity website. Then manage its name, site, mode and visitor flow from the website. There are no local configuration screens for visitors to navigate.
Keep records in one place
Authorised staff can search visit history and open individual records to see details and completed inductions. Induction and visit history load as needed, with your organisation's retention settings.
Visitors is free on every Dataplicity plan. Free includes one site; paid plans include all your sites. There are no per-visitor or per-kiosk fees.
Dataplicity Visitors requires a Dataplicity organisation with Visitors enabled and an authorised administrator to pair the iPad. Initial setup and checkout require an internet connection. Visitor records do not control doors, verify identity or certify qualifications.
