Free
Scan documents, receipts and business cards to PDF — just snap, and they're straightened and saved at the size you want.
Thoth Scan is a simple scanner app that takes documents you photograph with your phone, straightens them automatically and saves them.
Choose a standard paper size like A4 or Letter, or set your own width and height. Pick PDF, PNG or JPG, and share it right away.
No complicated settings and no sign-up. It's ready whenever you need it.
■ Just take a photo — your document comes out straight
1. Tap "Scan" and photograph your document
2. The edges are detected automatically, and tilt and distortion are corrected
3. Choose the paper size and file format you want
4. Save it, then share by email or with any other app
There's nothing complicated to learn.
■ From A4 to any custom size
Save at standard paper sizes or at exactly the dimensions you need.
• Sizes like A4, Letter, Legal, receipts, business cards and ID cards
• Set any width and height in millimeters or inches
• Shot at a slight angle? "Fill paper" saves the scan at exactly the paper size you chose
• Choose PDF, PNG or JPG to suit what you need
• Combine multi-page documents into a single PDF
• Add, delete and reorder pages
Great for submitting paperwork, keeping records, or digitizing cards and small slips of paper.
■ Real-size PDFs, ready to print
Because you can set the page size of your PDF, you can create files that match paper sizes like A4 or Letter.
Saving with a set paper size helps avoid unwanted scaling when you print.
Note: the actual printed size may vary depending on your print settings and printer.
■ All the essentials, free
• No sign-up or login
• No watermarks
• No limits on pages or documents
• No subscriptions or paid features
Thoth Scan is free thanks to ads.
Full-screen ads appear only at natural breaks, such as after saving or sharing. Ads never interrupt you while you scan.
■ Your documents are processed on your phone
Scanning, cleanup and text recognition all happen on your device, so your documents are never uploaded to an outside server.
Even important documents are handled with your privacy in mind.
■ Text recognition (OCR)
Read the Latin alphabet and Japanese text, then copy or share it.
■ Available in 16 languages
Use it comfortably in many languages.
Thoth Scan — just snap, and get the size you want.
