Photo widgets, editable collages and slideshows. Your one-time purchase supports development of Arras, the free, open-source app. Put your photos on your desktop. Arras turns photos, slideshows and collages into a personal part of your Mac. Keep a favourite image nearby, build a moodboard or let an album change throughout the day. MAKE IT YOURS Choose frames, shapes, shadows and opacity. Keep each photo’s natural proportions, or add captions and place text anywhere inside a collage. ARRANGE EVERY DETAIL Move and resize photos independently. Drag a collage’s background to move the group, with a boundary that fits as you edit. Use alignment guides, spacing tools and undo to get everything in place. KEEP YOUR DESKTOP ALIVE Create slideshows from local files, Finder folders or Photos albums. Add GIFs and videos alongside still images, and choose whether widgets sit on the desktop, above other widgets or float over your apps. SAVE YOUR SETUPS Keep different arrangements for different moods. Switch between saved Setups, recover removed widgets and export a backup to take your desktop with you. Photos and layouts stay on your Mac. No account is required. Photos albums need library access; capturing a screen region needs Screen Recording permission. Hide personal widgets before screen sharing, as recording apps can still capture visible widgets. For macOS 14 or later. Built for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
