Sawt Al-Quran is a free app for listening to and reading the Holy Quran on iPhone and iPad, with no account and no ads. It was designed for Arabic first and also has an English interface.
Listen to the Quran
• Recitations by more than 200 reciters, in several riwayat including Hafs, Warsh, Qalun and Al-Duri.
• Continuous listening from one surah to the next, with repeat, playback speed and a sleep timer.
• Recitation keeps playing when you lock the screen or switch apps, and you can control it from the Lock Screen, Control Center or your AirPods.
Listen offline
• Download a single surah or a reciter's whole mushaf, then listen without an internet connection.
• Limit downloads to Wi‑Fi if you prefer, see how much space they use, and delete what you no longer need.
Madinah Mushaf
• The complete Madinah Mushaf in 604 pages. When a recitation has verse timings, the ayah you are hearing is highlighted on the page.
• Go to any surah, juz or page, write notes on ayat and keep your place with bookmarks.
Tafsir
• More than 100 tafsir books from Quranpedia, including Al-Tafsir Al-Muyassar and Al-Mukhtasar. Tafsir needs an internet connection.
Quran radio
• More than 160 live Quran radio stations, including official national Quran radios from several countries and live broadcasts from the Two Holy Mosques. Browse them by type or search by name.
Your library
• Playlists you build, the reciters you follow and your favorites.
• Listening statistics, a daily wird and a listening khatma.
• Reminders for your daily wird and for Surah Al-Kahf on Friday.
• Your playlists, followed reciters, favorites, bookmarks, notes and settings sync across your devices through your own iCloud account; statistics and downloads stay on each device.
iPhone and iPad
• Works with Widgets, Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight search.
• In your car: play recitations and radio from the CarPlay screen.
Privacy
The app does not track you or collect personal data, and it sends no identifying information to the content services it uses.
Audio, the reciter catalogue and most radio streams come from MP3Quran.net; national radios come from their countries' broadcasters. Tafsir text comes from Quranpedia.
