No ads in the middle of a game. Play gomoku and janggi offline against 20 AI opponents and solve a new puzzle every day.
Hanpan brings gomoku (five in a row) and janggi (Korean chess) together in one board game, with no ads in the middle of a game.
AI ladder: 20 opponents wait on a map, 10 for each game, from a beginner who misses open threes to a grandmaster who reads deep. Beat one to unlock the next, and chase three stars per opponent with goals such as winning without undo or winning as White. 60 stars in all.
Daily puzzle: one gomoku puzzle (make five within n moves) and one janggi puzzle (checkmate within n moves) every day. 120 puzzles per game, each checked by the engine to have exactly one solution. Keep a streak for bonus coins.
Your rules: gomoku with the free rule, the no 3-3 rule or renju (without opening rules), with forbidden points marked and blocked. Janggi with all four starting setups, bikjang on or off, passing, the repetition ban, move limits and scoring with Han's 1.5-point komi.
Two players on one device with unlimited undo, game replays, 15 achievements and 28 board, piece and stone styles, 24 of them bought with coins earned in play (no random draws).

The game is free and supported by ads. A rewarded ad plays only when you tap a bonus button such as a hint, extra undos or double coins, and the game progresses the same if you never watch one. Every few games, an interstitial ad may appear after you tap "Play again" or "Next level" on the result window. There are no in-app purchases.
No account needed; progress is saved on your device. Available in English and Korean.
Boards, pieces, stones and icons are drawn in code; the portraits of the 20 AI opponents were created with generative AI (Google Gemini), then selected and edited.
