Gramtrail is a protein tracker for strength athletes. Keep a food log and see how much protein you have eaten toward your daily goal.
Scan a barcode or a nutrition label, check the protein per 100 g, and enter the grams you ate. The app calculates the protein in your portion. Foods without a barcode come from the built-in basic foods, and the foods you logged recently are one tap away with the amount from last time.
Logging, barcode and label scanning, basic foods, your daily goal, the last seven days and the home screen widget are free. Start logging without an account or a Pro purchase. Edit, delete or backdate entries when you need to make a correction.
Review your last seven days to see daily totals, your average, and the days you reached your goal. Pro adds browsing through past months with editable daily entries, plus trends for streaks, your best day and weekly averages. You can also choose to export your protein log to Apple Health; edits and deletions stay in sync.
Your food log is stored on your iPhone. Labels are read on your device. Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts, with a bundled USDA barcode catalog as an offline fallback. Food data from Open Food Facts is available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
