Kuleshov is the prep and on-set tool for directors and cinematographers, on iPad, iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch. From the script to the last take, in one app that works even without a connection. SCRIPT AND BREAKDOWN • Import your screenplay as PDF or Fountain: scenes, INT/EXT, day/night, locations and characters are detected automatically. • Read, edit and annotate the script with Apple Pencil; every new draft marks what changed and what to review. • Comments on lines, and a PDF laid out like a real screenplay with revision colors. • Breakdown with project totals and, for every scene, characters, location, props (suggested on device by Apple Intelligence), day/night and INT/EXT. • Technical shot breakdown: for every sequence a director's note and a numbered table with shot size, lens, movement, action and photo; as PDF. • Shooting schedule: scenes grouped by shooting day, dragged from one day to another, with totals. SHOT LIST AND STORYBOARD • Shots with size, movement, camera height, focal length, duration and director's notes. • Hand-drawn storyboards with Apple Pencil, or reference images generated on device. • Top-down lighting diagrams with cameras, actors, lights and modifiers, plus reusable templates. LIGHT AND LOCATIONS • Sunrise, sunset, golden and blue hour and the moon, to the minute and offline, for every location. • Location scout: photos, videos and LiDAR scans from camera positions; Prepare the scene shows backlight, side light and golden hour for every shot, with a PDF for the crew. • Golden and blue hour reminders, Milky Way, Look Around and horizon obstacles. • Sun path in the viewfinder, scouting photos with compass and GPS, nearest hospital, location cards as PDF. 3D SCENE • Place cameras, actors and lights in space and view every shot from anywhere. • Sets from LiDAR scans, USDZ and OBJ, multiple cameras, lights with real shadows, keyframes and camera moves. ON SET • PDF call sheets for the crew, with department call times and daylight. • On Set mode: current scene and shot, new take with one tap, ahead of or behind schedule. • Per-take camera reports, exportable as PDF and CSV for editorial; continuity photos. • Apple Watch: takes on your wrist with Good/NG straight into the camera report, schedule delays, countdown to golden hour and sunset, a take stopwatch and a viewfinder remote.
