BANG! the hero falls. WHAT? the thief bounces. Two rivals on one comic page, one thumb each, while the Editor rewrites the issue mid-run. Who survives this very bad day? THE HERO. THE THIEF. TWO DIRECTIONS. TWO THUMBS. ONE VERY BAD DAY. BANG!, a superhero exclamation mark, falls down the pink hero city. WHAT?, a question-mark cat burglar, bounces up the blue heist district. The hero and the thief are rivals, never a team, yet they share one comic book, one page each, and you play both at the same time: one thumb steers BANG!, the other steers WHAT?. TWO STORIES, ONE PAIR OF HANDS A printing press crushes down from above. A shredder chews up from below. The city speeds up every floor. Dodge, stomp henchmen, grab stars, and keep both rivals in the story, because when one of them goes down, the issue ends. CROSSOVER! Land the hero and the thief on the same beat and the two stories start to collide. Every synced landing charges the CROSSOVER! meter. When it fires, every henchman on both pages goes POOF. PICK A PLOT DEVICE Stars fill the ink. When it is full, the world freezes at the Editor's desk and you choose one of three Plot Devices: new moves, shields, second chances and strange ideas. Each run builds a different comic. STORY ARCS Some Plot Devices belong together. Find the right pairs and a Story Arc pays off with its own twist. THE EDITOR STRIKES! The Editor does not like a quiet issue. Expect MORE DRAMA!, a deadline, a cut panel, a guest star or a sudden AD BREAK!. He changes the rules mid-run. Adapt or get rewritten. SUPERPOWERS Rush down with SPEED LINES!. Start a FIGHT SCENE! with BANG!'s EYE BEAMS! and WHAT?'s SMOKE BOMB!. Escape certain doom with a last-second HERO LANDING! or THE GREAT ESCAPE!. THE EDITOR'S AWARDS Twenty awards to win across your runs, if you can earn the Editor's grudging approval. EVERY RUN A NEW ISSUE Short runs, a city that is never the same twice, and a comic that writes itself around your two thumbs. One more issue?
