Plan your Hand and Foot and canasta nights, see who’s coming, keep score at every table, and know where to sit and who your partner is. Your whole group in one app. Canasta Circle runs your Hand and Foot or canasta group, from “Who’s in on Monday?” to the season standings. THREE GAMES, ONE APP • Hand and Foot, Classic Canasta or Modern American Canasta: your group picks its game, and that game’s usual values fill in. • Change any value to match your house rules, or clear one your group doesn’t score. • Winning score or rounds per game, games per night, dues, and a season by the calendar year or your own months. PLAN THE CARD NIGHTS • Set when your group plays: every week, every 2 weeks, once a month, or the 1st and 3rd of the month. • Line up who’s hosting, with the address one tap from Maps. • Move a card night, change its start time, or call it off. When it’s off, text everyone from your own phone. SEE WHO’S COMING • Everyone taps “I’m in” or “Can’t make it.” • Full house? A waitlist fills open seats in the order people replied. • Nudge everyone who hasn’t replied with one text from your own phone. • Short a player? Text your subs a link, and the first to say yes gets the seat. PLAY THE NIGHT • Sign everyone in as they arrive, with subs and dues marked. • Pick how many tables, and the app draws teams of two and seats everyone, partners across. With an odd number, one table plays everyone for themselves. Everyone plays. • Stay at your table all night, or move tables: after each game the app draws new tables and new partners, and everyone’s own points add up. “Where do I go?” shows each player their table, seat and partner. • Not everyone needs the app: only the organizer and whoever keeps score at each table. • Each round, the scorekeeper enters each team’s books (or canastas), red 3s and who went out, the card points on the table and the card points left in hands. The app adds it up with your group’s values. • Before every round the app shows what each team’s first meld needs. It never checks it. • A WENT OUT! flash marks the team that went out. • Undo a round, tap a saved round to fix it, or just type the totals. • Hand and Foot ends after the last round; canasta at 5,000 or 8,500, or after a set number of hands. A tie shares the win, or you tap the winner. • Late arrivals join the next game. Someone who goes home keeps their points, and their partner plays on. • Follow every table on the live scoreboard, and your night so far (with a subscription). PRIZES AND STANDINGS • Write your own prize list: most points, 2nd and 3rd most points, fewest points, most games won, best round, most books, or your own pick. • Partners who played every game together win together, shown as “Ron & Lois”. • Tonight’s winners, every team’s scores and a brag card to share are free. The live scoreboard, season standings, the winners log and your stats come with the subscription. YOUR CARDS, YOUR TABLE Canasta Circle keeps score; it doesn’t deal, count cards or referee. Scores are points only: prizes and dues are notes, and the app never handles your group’s money. TAKE A LOOK FIRST Not in a group yet? Made for groups who’ve played for years: large text by default, no passwords, no ads, and nothing to set up you don’t want. SUBSCRIPTION Saying “I’m in”, keeping score and finding your table are always free. The live scoreboard, season standings, the winners log and your stats are a subscription: $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year in the US (prices in Canada are shown in the App Store). The price is per person: each player who wants these subscribes for themselves, and one subscription covers every Canasta Circle group they play in. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
