NITRATO is a cinema camera for iPhone with TV series looks. Pick a look, hit record and see the final color on screen while you shoot: skin, skies, shadows and grain calibrated against real frames from the works that inspired them. SIX CALIBRATED LOOKS • Verita 65: high school, glitter and neon at 65 mm. • Diapositiva Noche: high-school parties on slide film, magenta and halo. • Hawkins 85: an 80s small town, bikes and Christmas lights. • Albuquerque: desert, RV and chemistry in 35 mm amber. • Winden: German forest, cave and yellow raincoat. • Granada 32: Andalusian summer on 35 mm film. Every look carries its own measured grain, halation and vignette. New looks with every update. A REAL CINEMA CAMERA • Apple Log and Apple Log 2 with the look on screen and a flat file to grade later, or the look baked into the file. • ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes RAW to an external SSD (iPhone 17 Pro and 18 Pro) and H.265. • 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60 and 120 fps, 180° shutter with ND warning, off-speed and time-lapse. • ISO, shutter, real aperture (iPhone 18 Pro), white balance in Kelvin and tint, manual focus with rack focus. • Dual zebras, false color, five-color peaking, RGB histogram, 2.39:1 and other frame guides, horizon level. • Timecode, slate with take numbering, pause while recording, A/B with and without the look. • Recording to SSD, proxies, automatic backup to your folder, external monitor over HDMI and multi-camera remote control. • 48 kHz audio with VU meter, external microphones and headphone monitoring. NO TRICKS • One-time purchase. No subscription, no account, no internet. • Your videos stay on your iPhone or your SSD. REQUIREMENTS Apple Log requires iPhone 15 Pro or later. ProRes RAW requires iPhone 17 Pro or 18 Pro and an external SSD. Everything else works on any iPhone running iOS 27. The looks are inspired by the color of film and TV. NITRATO is not affiliated with any studio, network or film stock brand.
