Scan Flex turns your iPhone into a pocket document scanner and PDF toolkit. Scan paper in seconds, find any word inside your scans, and sign, edit, merge or protect PDFs without leaving the app. SCAN CLEAN PDFs • Point your camera at a page and the edges are found automatically • Adjust the corners, add more pages and save a crisp PDF • Scan both sides of an ID card onto one page • Import PDFs from the Files app SEARCH INSIDE EVERY SCAN Scan Flex reads the text on every page right on your device (OCR). Type a name, an amount or a word from a letter and the right document shows up, even if you never renamed it. Open any PDF and search inside it. SCANS THAT ORGANISE THEMSELVES No more "Scan_0412.pdf". Scan Flex gives each scan a clear name like "Green Leaf Market receipt Sep 14, 2026" and files it into folders such as Receipts, Invoices or Contracts. Add your own folders and tags, and undo any change with one tap. Prefer to do it yourself? Switch it off in Settings. NEVER MISS A DATE Scan Flex spots due dates, expiry dates and appointments in your documents and lists them under Upcoming. Set a reminder on any document and get a notification in time. RECEIPTS AND SPENDING • See this month's spending from scanned receipts and invoices on Home, with totals by month and shop on the Spending screen • Correct an amount by hand and export it all to CSV • Turn the items on a receipt or invoice into an editable table and save it as CSV or Excel • Find exact copies and scans of the same page, and delete the extras COPY, SHARE OR LISTEN See the text of any document in one place, then copy it, share it or have it read aloud. Tap a date to add it to your calendar, or a phone number to save it as a contact. TRANSLATE, SUMMARISE, ASK • Translate a letter or a contract into your language on your iPhone (iOS 18 or later), even offline • Summary: on iPhones with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later), get the key points of a long document • Ask: type a question such as "When is the payment due?" and get the answer with the pages it comes from Summary and Ask run on your device, in the languages Apple Intelligence supports. A FULL PDF TOOLKIT • eSign: draw your signature and place it anywhere on the page • Digital signature: create a certificate or import a .p12 file, sign PDFs, and see who signed and whether the file changed since • Markup: highlight text, draw with a pen, add notes and stamps such as "PAID", then save in place or as a flattened copy • Redact: black out text for good, with suggestions for phone numbers, e-mail addresses, account numbers, dates and names. Removed text is gone from the file and from search • Reorder, rotate or delete pages • Merge PDFs, or split by page ranges, every N pages or into single pages • Compress: scanned pages get smaller, pages with real text stay as they are • Add a text watermark with your own opacity, angle and size • Protect a PDF with a password, or unlock one you own • Export pages as JPG or PNG, or the text as a .txt file • Rename, share or save a copy to Files PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your documents stay inside the app on your iPhone. Text recognition, naming, sorting, translation and summaries run on your device, and your files are never uploaded to our servers. Your signing certificate is not included in backups. Back up your documents to a folder in the Files app, such as iCloud Drive. Dark mode, 30 languages, and multi-select to share or delete many files at once. Questions or ideas?
