Optimist Mirror is a companion for the M-VAVE FM-1 running the free Optimist firmware. - See the FM-1's screen, pixel for pixel, as large as your device allows, over USB or Bluetooth. Tap to hide everything but the screen. - Play the FM-1 from your Mac's keyboard (USB): the buttons, the keys and the knobs. - Projects: load, save, export and import song sections and patterns. - Presets: the FM-1's 32 user presets, and your own collection on your device, with search and tags. - Backup: a full backup of everything stored on the FM-1, and restore. Files are the same as the Optimist web editor's. Requires an FM-1 running the Optimist firmware (https://github.com/w0ts/optimist). The FM-1's stock firmware is not supported. Projects, Presets and Backup need the USB cable; the screen also works over Bluetooth. Optimist Mirror is an independent project, not affiliated with M-VAVE.

- Firmware page: install Optimist on your FM-1 over USB from the app. Pick a release, your own build, or open a .fwsc file from Files, AirDrop or Mail. An interrupted cable resumes. With two FM-1s connected you choose which one. - Projects: a project library on your device, and projects over Bluetooth. - Mirror: sharper pixels at any size, a landscape layout on iPhone, and a steadier picture over Bluetooth. - The editor pages now work offline. - The app tells you when Bluetooth is off or not allowed, and when no FM-1 is found. - FM-1s show with their new FM1-XXXX names, and fm1-base apps are supported. - The app still connects only when you ask it to.
