Last 10 minutes and you win, meow! ■ Bosses get angrier Hurt a boss and it cracks — "Armor broken!" — and sprays bullets, then goes red and "Berserk!" at the end. Build complete? Tap Final Boss to call the golden boss and finish early, or hold out the full 10 minutes. Mid-run, Catnip Party (double damage) and Blackout (only your cat's light) turn the run around. ■ Satisfying from second one A crowd of mice surrounds you at the start and your first punch blows them all away. No slow first minutes. ■ Flick to dash-punch Drag, then flick: the cat dashes that way and punches through a whole line of mice. ■ Toys are your weapons Yarn ball, laser pointer, feather wand, catnip patch, cardboard box fort, plus claws, fists and magic: 20 skills to build your own cat. ■ Every run is different Golden mouse chases, mouse rushes, fish rain, treasure chests and stray cats to rescue. Rescued cats follow you in a line and fight with you. ■ Eleven stages Night Alley, Pigeon Park, Crow Rooftops, Scary Vet, Bath Time Flood and the Night Fish Market, each with its own boss and event. At 9:00 a golden boss shows up. Stage 7 is the Nyang Punch Photo Vault, where unsorted photos come alive. New: the Dawn Boxing Gym, where sandbags rush in every time the bell rings and a champion bulldog charges with a one-two. And in the Midnight Barbershop, furballs roll in and the Clipper Chief buzzes past three times in a row. In the Late-Night Comic Café, speech bubbles pop out and you dodge falling KA-BOOMs. And in the Hushed Library, bookworms crawl out and whole shelves topple over. ■ Every stage has its own rule Fight under the alley's street lamps to hit harder, and ride the rooftop wind to run faster. The bathhouse floor is slippery, market gulls steal your fish, comic bubbles pop in chain reactions, and in the library you step on an open book to read for a power-up. Eleven places, eleven ways to fight. Every cat also has a home turf where it bends the rule its way: Yoga Cat reads library books for longer, Gym Cat never slips in the bathhouse. Play the daily Today's Combo for +50% treats. ■ A special move for every cat Mice fill the gauge; tap the face button for that cat's own special: an alley gang stampede, giant one-two gloves, a lotus shockwave, a wave that turns every mouse to gold. Mastery makes it stronger. ■ Eight cats Alley Cat, JabJab Boxer, Boxing Cat, Interval Cat, Yoga Cat, Cheese, Maneki Cat and Gym Cat, the JabJab gym coach. Each has a signature move, and mastery grows the more you play one. Find all 16 skill evolutions. Win a stage with each cat for a crown stamp, and collect crowns to meet a hidden friend. Skills unlock one by one, and Challenge goes up to 5 stars. ■ Grow between runs Permanent upgrades, gear from bosses (merge 3 to grade up), daily missions and 16 outfits, a free daily draw at the Meow Machine and a Weekly Challenge. ■ Fair to your wallet Nothing sells power.
