ChronoCraft is a watch design app where you choose the parts and materials of a mechanical watch and assemble it in 3D. Combinations that are hard to find in real life, such as wood with titanium or sapphire with gold, are just a tap away. Take your watch apart to see how it works, then wear it on Apple Watch.
- CHOOSE PARTS AND MATERIALS, BUILD IN 3D
• Choose the case, bezel, dial, hands, movement, rotor, crystal, and strap
• Combine materials such as titanium, stainless steel, gold, platinum, wood, sapphire, carbon, ceramic, leather, and rubber with shapes and finishes
• Metal reflections, wood grain, and see-through sapphire change in 3D with every choice
• Choices that can't go together are prevented, with the reason shown. Undo and redo are always there
• Set details such as diameter, thickness, water resistance, beat rate, and power reserve
• Each material answers with its own short sound and haptic
- SEE THE STRUCTURE
• Use a slider to separate the watch into layers and see the parts stacked from the crystal to the case back
• Select a layer to highlight it in 3D and learn each part's name and role
• Skeleton view lets you see the movement through the case
- SEE IT IN MOTION
• Watch the balance wheel, escapement, gear train, and rotor move at 1/20, 1/5, or real-time speed
• Mechanism guides explain how each part keeps time
• Listen to the ticking at the watch's beat rate
- LIGHTING
• Change how your watch looks with studio, natural, and bright ambiences, fill lights, and brightness
- WEAR IT ON APPLE WATCH
• Send your design to Apple Watch and show it with the current time
• Tap to switch between front and back; turn the Digital Crown to zoom in and out
• Reflections and the rotor follow the tilt of your wrist
• Touch and hold the watch to hear the movement, as if you held it to your ear
• Place it on your watch face as a complication (circular or rectangular)
• Save an image for the Photos face and set it on the Photos watch face

• Designs are saved automatically; rename, duplicate, delete, or share them as images
• With iCloud, your designs sync between devices that use the same Apple Account
