Kazan is real-time strategy on a volcano island. You start with your base and four workers; in every match the volcano wakes up and the lava eats the island tile by tile. Grow fast, defend yourself and, when the time comes, run.
BUILD YOUR CITY
• Your workers chop wood, mine iron and build; farms make food.
• 12 buildings: base, houses, farms, sawmill, mine, market, barracks, factory, towers, forts, radars and walls.
• The market trades wood or food for iron when the ore runs out.
RAISE YOUR ARMY
• 9 unit types: workers, soldiers, snipers, bikes, medics, scouts, tanks, artillery and drones, up to 200 population.
• The fort is a bunker: put up to six soldiers or snipers inside and they shoot from cover.
• Medics heal on the move, workers repair, and an alarm tells you when you are under attack.
THE VOLCANO
• The lava spreads until almost nothing of the island is left.
• If the lava or the enemy takes your base, you lose; when time runs out, the highest score wins.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Solo: against 1 to 9 computer rivals, 20 to 60 minutes, in forest, snow, desert or swamp. Works offline.
• Island challenge: up to 12 nations on the same island, with rounds from Monday to Thursday and Thursday to Monday. You get a 15-minute shield when you join (attack and you lose it), a computer rival is always ready to fight if you are alone, your city carries on when you leave (workers gather, troops defend) and you return to it from the same device.
• Room with a code: create a room for 2 to 10 people, share the four-letter code and play on the same island.
MADE FOR THE PHONE
• Tap a unit to select its group, or hold still and drag to select an area.
• Pick buildings from a strip with their picture and place them by dragging their outline.
• Pixel graphics and chiptune sound.
Free, with no purchases. Ads show between matches, never in the middle of one, and you can watch one whenever you like to finish a building right away or earn 100 iron.
