Doodlenest gives a small group one drawing page each week. Grandma adds a sun in the morning, your kid adds a cat after school, a friend across the country adds a tree at night. The page grows on everyone's home screen widget, so you see it change without opening a chat.
HOW IT WORKS
- Start a nest and send the invite link. Only people with the link can join, 2 to 12 people.
- Draw on the shared page whenever you like with crayon, marker or pen, 8 colours and 3 sizes.
- There is no eraser. You can take back only your own strokes, so nobody wipes out someone else's drawing.
- After 7 days, or 1,500 strokes, the page closes and goes into the nest's book.
- Open any page in the book and replay it stroke by stroke, in the order everyone drew.
THE WIDGET
Put the widget on your home screen and the shared page shows up there. The widget also refreshes on its own in the background whenever iOS allows it, and right away while the app is open.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No public feed, no strangers, no chat, no ads. You can block or report a member, report a page, remove someone from your nest, leave a nest, or delete your data.
YOUR NEST LIVES IN ICLOUD
Nests are kept in the iCloud account of the person who started them and shared only with the people they invite. There is no sign-up and no Doodlenest server. Everyone in a nest needs to be signed in to iCloud.
FREE
One nest, up to 4 people, unlimited strokes, the widget and replay of the 4 most recent pages.
DOODLENEST PLUS
Up to 10 nests, up to 12 people in each, the whole book and video export of any replay. Plus is a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
