Cluckwork is a premium egg timer dressed as a 1930s rubber-hose cartoon. Choose your egg, say how you like it, and the app works out the cook time. When it is up, your iPhone rings, even in silent mode or a Focus. After each egg, tell it whether it was too runny, just right or too firm, and the timer learns your stove and your taste. AN ALARM THAT REALLY RINGS The countdown is a system alarm, so it still sounds when you close the app. Watch it on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in StandBy, pause and resume from there, and start an ice bath timer with one tap when the egg is done.
