Put a calm pause between you and the sites that eat your time. Leaving takes one tap; opening a site costs a short wait and a slice of a daily allowance. Nope puts a calm pause between you and the sites that eat your time. Block the sites you want to stay away from. When you open one in Safari, Nope shows a pause page instead. Leaving takes one tap. If you really need the site, wait out a short countdown and open it for a few minutes. Those minutes come out of a daily allowance, so "just five minutes" can't turn into the whole afternoon. Changing your mind works in one direction only: • Tightening applies at once: add a site, shrink the allowance, lengthen the wait. • Loosening waits out a cooldown (24 hours by default), so a weak moment can't undo a decision you made with a clear head. WHAT YOU GET • A pause page that shows "Do this instead" from your own to-do list • Bypasses that end on their own and send the site back to the pause page • A daily allowance, with the reset time shown • Streaks: days since you last opened each blocked site, with tiers at 30, 60, 120, and 240 days • Quick picks and sites you've seen before, one tap away when you block • An optional countdown in the corner of a site while a bypass runs, with End now • Blocks that cover www., mobile, and every other subdomain PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything Nope keeps stays on your device. No account, no tracking, no analytics, and no network requests. TURN IT ON Open the Nope app for the steps. On iPhone: Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → Nope. On Mac: Safari → Settings → Extensions. When Safari asks for access to a site, choose Always Allow. Nope blocks sites in Safari only. Like any extension, it can be turned off in Settings: it is a speed bump for habits, not a parental control.
