Family photos stay in the family. With PixTribu, you can share even your children's moments with the people you choose, without posting them online or storing them in a cloud photo library.
No account needed: devices pair with each other, and your memories stay within your Tribù and are never stored on a server. Once paired, devices join the same Tribù and sync on their own: over your home Wi-Fi when they can, and over an encrypted internet connection when you're apart.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pair with a QR code, or with an invite link you can send over WhatsApp or any other app. The link is handy when the other person isn't with you.
• Once devices share a Tribù, albums sync themselves across every connected device.
• Photos arrive as previews first, so an album is ready to browse right away. The full-resolution original downloads on demand with one tap.
• Like and comment on photos in a shared album. Only your Tribù sees them.
• Share a photo or video from any other app straight into a PixTribu album.
• Download a whole album at full resolution with a single tap.
PRIVACY FIRST
• Everything that travels between devices, pairing and photos alike, is end-to-end encrypted (crypto_box, libsodium): only sender and recipient can read it.
• When your devices are on different networks, our server passes the encrypted data along. It can't read it and doesn't keep it.
• Received photos stay inside PixTribu, separate from your own photo library. A photo goes into Photos only when you save it there.
• Removing someone from a Tribù stops future sharing with them. Leaving a shared album stops it from being silently re-created later.
BUILT FOR REAL USE
• Tap a notification to open what just arrived.
• If something fails to sync, tapping the status badge shows who it couldn't reach and why, with a "Retry now" that acts immediately instead of waiting.
PixTribu is built for families and close friends who want to stay connected through photos and videos, without an account or a public cloud.

Invite several people with one link: each invite link now lets up to 30 people join, so you can also send it in a group chat. You choose how long it works: 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days.
The viewer now shows clearly when a photo is downloading.
