Doorboo: Peekaboo Door
Open the phone, open the door
Only for iPhone
$3.99 · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Fold your phone closed and a door appears. Open it and a friend jumps out with a Boo! Add a family photo and your own voice for a personal peekaboo.
Doorboo turns a folding phone into a peekaboo door.
Close the phone and the door is shut. On it you see a hint: "Meow?" "Moo?" "Roar?". Open the phone a little and the door swings open just as far, so a friend peeks through the gap. Open it all the way and the friend fills the screen with a big "Boo!" and a sound.
Made for iPhone Duo. The hinge is the door: the app reads the hinge angle, so the door follows the fold in real time. On a phone without a hinge, tap or swipe the door to open it.
SIXTEEN FRIENDS
Cat, dog, bunny, bear, panda, frog, pig, lion, cow, fox, monkey, elephant, owl, sheep, chick and tiger. Each has its own call. Let them take turns, or pick a favorite.
YOUR OWN BOO
Choose one family photo and record a short "Boo!". Grandma, a sibling or the family dog can be the one behind the door. The photo and voice stay inside the app on this phone.
MADE FOR LITTLE HANDS
No menus to get lost in, no reading required. Settings sit behind a small gear for grown-ups.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics and no internet connection. Nothing is collected. The optional photo and recording are saved only on this phone and can be removed at any time.
Sounds are generated by the app, with the volume you set on the phone.
