Viewport Duo: Safari Layout
More room for Duo websites

Pages reach under Safari's right-side controls while text wraps before them. Battery-friendly, no account, no tracking, nothing is sent anywhere.
Viewport is a Safari extension for the Safari view with right-side controls on iPhone Duo. In that view, websites normally end before the controls and the area beneath them stays empty. Viewport widens the page so content reaches under the controls.
Keeps pages usable:
• Horizontal swipes leave the page in place; it does not slide sideways.
• Buttons and icons in header and footer bars, such as search, menu or cart, stay in the visible area.
• Image carousels, sliders and the website's own scrolling areas work as usual.
• Pinch to zoom works, including looking around while zoomed in.
• When a website opens a sheet or cookie notice, Viewport pauses briefly and turns itself back on afterwards.
Settings:
• Adjustable additional width to the right (default: 80).
• Automatic mode for the view you confirm.
• Custom widths and exceptions per website.
• Reset, pause or resume at any time.
• Wrap text before the controls: paragraphs end before Safari's buttons, while pictures and bars reach under them (can be turned off).
• English and German, matching your device language.
Battery-friendly: Viewport only does work when a page changes or you scroll, with no constant background activity.
Private by design: No account, no sign-in, no payment details, no advertising, no tracking. Nothing is sent anywhere: your settings stay on your iPhone, and Viewport never reads what you type into forms, such as passwords or card numbers. Safari shows a general warning for every extension that works on all websites; Viewport only adjusts page layout.
Before you buy: Viewport is made only for the Safari view with right-side controls on iPhone Duo. Ordinary iPhones and iPads do not have these controls; there the added area would lie outside the screen. That is why automatic mode starts off and only runs after you confirm the matching view.
Safari keeps its own controls; content beneath them may be partly covered. Pinned bars on some websites still end at the original edge. Not every website accepts widening; Viewport leaves such pages unchanged. Text input and a different view pause automatic mode.
Setup: enable the extension under Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions and allow access to the websites you want. Then open a website in the Duo view, choose Viewport from Safari's page menu and tap "Confirm this view and enable".
