CHART MAKR

Band charts from MIDI or audio

$0.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Open a MIDI file, play a part in, or open a recording. Eight printable band charts, ready to zoom on stage or export as a PDF. Everything included. You have the music. Somebody else has to play it. CHART MAKR writes the charts a band reads, from a MIDI file, from a part you play in on a keyboard, or from a recording. Eight printable pages, each one written for a different person in the room. ROAD MAP: form, bar counts and cues for everyone. Type the cues; mark one red and it prints red. CHORD CHART: chord symbols over rhythm slashes, for keys and guitar. NASHVILLE NUMBERS: the same chart in numbers, ready for any key. DRUM CHART: the groove written once, then only what changes. Accents, ghost notes, flams and triplets, written the way a drummer reads them. BASS PART: real notation on a bass clef, 808s included. MELODY / HORN PART: the tune on a treble clef, written in concert, Bb, Eb or F for the player reading it. SAMPLE CHOP CHART: for phrases fired from one key. The sample name sits where a chord symbol would. MD CHART: keys, bass and drums braced on one page for the music director. GETTING THE MUSIC IN • Open a .mid file from Files or Mail. • Play the part in on a MIDI keyboard plugged into your iPhone or iPad, against the click. • Open a recording. CHART MAKR listens to it on your iPhone or iPad and writes a first draft for you to correct. Nothing is uploaded. MAKE IT RIGHT Tap any bar to fix the chord, the rhythm or the cue. Transpose the whole pack. Play the chart back and the page follows along. READ IT ON STAGE Pinch to zoom in on any part of the page, or tap ENLARGE for the chart on the full screen. GET IT OUT Export any chart as a print-ready PDF, the whole pack as one PDF, or a picture of the page for a text. Every song you make is kept in SONGS. One price, everything included. No account, no subscription, works offline.
