In Rollmate, dice are never thrown. They tip over their edges, square by square, and the number on top tells you exactly how far a die can go. Every tip brings another face up, so every move also decides what that die can do next. Simple to learn, surprisingly deep to master.
HOW IT WORKS
• Each side has eight dice and a king on a 9 × 9 board.
• A die moves exactly as many squares as its top face shows – straight or with one 90° turn.
• Dice can't jump over others. Land on an opponent's die to capture it.
• The king moves one square at a time and may capture too.
• Win by capturing the enemy king – or by marching your own king onto your opponent's king square.
• Two paths to the same square can leave different numbers on top. Choosing the right one is half the game.
PLAY YOUR WAY
• Against the computer: four levels from Easy to Expert. Runs on your device and works offline. Your game is saved after every move, so you can continue any time.
• Unranked online games: no clock, no pressure. Take hours or days for your next move – each player has up to seven days per move.
• Ranked games with a chess clock: Blitz (3 + 2), Normal (10 + 5) and Casual (30 + 20), each with its own rating and leaderboard. Matchmaking looks for opponents close to your rating.
• Rematch with one tap after any online game, colours swapped.
• No opponent yet? Play the computer while the search goes on – Rollmate pauses your game as soon as someone is found.
LEARN IN TWO MINUTES
An interactive tutorial walks you through everything on small practice boards: tipping, turning, blocking, capturing, the king, both ways to win and choosing between paths. The full rules are always one tap away.
A BOARD YOU CAN HOLD
Beech against ebony in a dark wooden tray. Rotate the board with one finger, tilt it with two, or switch to a clear top-down view – whatever you read best. Every move tips across the board with a soft, tactile animation and haptic feedback.

When you want to play ranked, keep your progress or use Rollmate on more than one device, save your account with Sign in with Apple or with your e-mail address – your name, games and ratings come with you.
