Not a bad application. You could save in your flight and it will notify you about gate, Last Call, etc. you can book a parking via app as well.

Slow and silly restrictions

Trying to book parking in a hurry and a password reset is requested. Once a reset email is requested it will take 10 to 15 minutes for the reset email to come in. So we don’t have time and just try to book without logging in. But we get an error that booking cannot be made as email is registered but not logged in. Ok let’s start all over and use another email. 20 minutes into the processs we got a parking reservation and emails for password reset are coming in. Since we impatiently tried it a few times we now have to find the last one that works. Got it and I’m back in my account. Lots of restrictions on pasting passwords or using password apps. So lots of typing was involved. Now I figured I will add my reservation I just made with another email, guess what… yes exactly… that is not allowed, only reservations with the email used to log in can be added. So let’s log out to manage the reservation…Who comes up with stuff like that? Why?

Horrendous UX

The Aena website for Madrid airport is completely unusable. How hard is it to just lay out where everything is in a map? There are too many pop ups and ‘interactivity’ implemented in place of usability. WHY do I have to download an app just to get a basic map of the airport? Just so I can be served more ads? Completely ridiculous. Please rethink your digital strategy, this is terrible execution.
