I purchased the app on my Iphone 6 and for my Ipad Mini to watch and listen to my 12 Yr old Mini Schnauzer. Like many other reviews, my dog seems to get more anxious when he hears my voice through the commands and does not see me. I think the product works well but I have experienced some minor issues. There have been moments that no sound will play while I am monitoring my dog. There is a very small lag in video connection and sound. But overall I think it works well. The quality of the video is clear. I just downloaded the app for my Macbook. Hoping it works just as well.

We also emphasize the commands should always be used for positive messages only and to calm the dog down. This app is really nice to be able to see what is going on at home, but very annoying have to buy the app two times, one for my mac and one for my phone. A serious money making scheme from the developers, $10 is a lot to pay for multiple device usability. Also the workarounds they post do not work! It is also a huge drain on the battery for both devices, so be prepared for that if you want to watch all day. I have to leave it plugged in at home. The connection does drop a lot which I could see being a problem for some people that really like to be able to track everything. I do like the feature where you can listen to every noise so I can tell if the noisy notifications are from the dog or traffic. Would recommend with some hesitancy.

I can't say enough good things about this app. It is great for travel . . ., easy to set up in a new place. On vacation with my dog, wanted to go out and leave him alone, just open the laptop and go! Laptop was already connected to vacation house wifi. I did not stress about needing to hurry back to him as I could see him sleeping all day. I travel a lot. Set up in a new place is the most important thing to me.

In the Activity log, you can listen to previous noises, they are recorded in the Activity log and can determine if it was your dog barking or if it was something else. During the monitoring, you can access the current Activity log from the Person Station quickly with one of these 2 ways: 1) If the dog is sleeping, this text always appears: last noise “time period” ago. If you tap on the underlined time value, current activity log will open. 2) Another option is through the menu on the Person Station (Menu > Activity log).You can access all past Activity logs from the main menu by tapping on the icon of a clock inside a circular arrow.
