Tired of searching through your emails to find threads of a conversation? Other emails you sent the same person earlier? Emails they sent you months ago? This is logical email. All your emails to the same person are presented together. Emails are in order of arrival, but presented by Contact with all that sender's emails. It is so obvious that the only people not using email presented this way are those who haven't experienced it—or those who are so compulsive, they never let email pile up. I can see all email from a single sender—and then delete en masse with just a right click, delete. Except for one issue. Email is not delivered as quickly when re-opening the app as other apps. I think it doesn't fetch in the background. If you are in a hurry, this might not be for you. I used to use another app for mail when I was in a hurry, now I just try not to hurry if the mail isn't there yet. It'll arrive shortly.

Unibox is something I have used for the past 3 years… I can’t stand the apple mail app, and prefer Unibox, but HERE is why I give it only 2 stars. Unibox was buggy as all getout and I stuck with it. Now, it works and is stable, but the occasional issue comes up and it seems that the developers are always confused as to how their own app works. Finally, I was hacked recently and after hours of working on it, all of my emails and all apps (this is 20-30 accounts) have all been changed except Unibox. The reason is that Unibox claims to use the servers themselves, but this isn’t true because all of the email passwords were updated. 24 hours later it doesn’t work. Delete and reinstall, and it doesn’t work. This is a serious security issue for myself and the people trying to track down the fraud. I have other speculations, but will just suffice to say that even though I like its functionality I don’t think it’s safe to use. Developer: You need to make this app work right. Simple talk from someone who has used your app profusely. The app seems to just lack very common sense solutions to it’s problems.

I’m a marketing manager for 10 different organizations. Unibox is my number one choice for e-mail. I really enjoy the layout, navigation, and starring features. It doesn’t everything I would like, with exception to one thing. I rely heavily on the star feature as an indication of recieved e-mails requires my response. This feature is beautiful. The one thing that I need is a way to “star” or mark e-mails that I’ve responded to, that require a followup, but this “star” needs to be distinct from the current star. Adding this feature would cover both ends of e-mail, ones that come in and require a response from me, and e-mails that I send that require a response or a followup from the recipient(s). It would be great to be able to check a box in the composition window, say under my profile picture under send button that puts a similar icon to the right of the name in the inbox section and stores the sent email in a folder like the starred folder.The second feature that I would like is an inbox view option where the subject line is the primary view vs. the name of the sender/recepient. I understand the value of a name based veiw and I love it, but sometime, especially with group e-mails, its really difficult to find an e-mail that I would typically find by the subject line, and in group emials subject lines makes it much easier to see the chronology of the conversation.Thanks for making a nearly perfect email system. I hope that it’s perfected soon!

I love the concept behind Unibox, with some tweaks it could be fabulous. Like the option to have group emails show up as an identity rather than having each response show up under a serperate person (this makes it imposible to follow multi contact conversations as you have no clue who’s response goes where in the conversation). Also little things like not having the delete, achive, spam options follow you down an email when you scroll, or the fact that the delete key on my keyboard won’t delete a message.My real complaint though is with support I have contacted them a couple of times and I get unhelpful and snide sounding responses. I wonder if english isn’t thier first language and maybe the communication don’t come across as intended. Be warned that I have been unable to recive messages, and to send at times when I can access my email via other means with out a problem.Over all I realy like what Unibox has going for it and I would love to see it improved and made more stable. I sugest giving it a try.
