Hi. I really appreciate the updates and the newformat Only one problem: when giving the forecasts, the guys talk in counties. While I recognize them as Michigan counties but don’t always know wWHERE they are. It would really help if the county names were on all the maps. With the radar I can check on my kids: AnnArbor, Pinckney and Abingdon Virg. I even liked the old way. Thank you for being there and giving updates, warning, and locations of bad weather to this senior citizen who lives alone and can’t drive anymore. Hello to all the weather guys. New version is terrible

The new version of the app is terrible. What a downgrade, seems like it was a ploy for more click thru channels and ads… $$$. This appears to be the Darksky reskin of the Apple IOS weather app, so why not just use that? The misses from the old version: 1. Radar is harder to see different density return levels than before. 2. The future radar seems very rudimentary and only 2 hours in the future vs 6+ on the old version. The tracks are basically all West to East - suuurreeee. 3. Lots of noise at the bottom with other stuff like school info (schools out), news - no I just want weather 4. Maybe user error but cannot find the dialog from the meteorological staff now, buried in app? And no I don’t want to watch a video - just give me a quick text synopsis so if I’m at work or whatever I can have useful info. 5. Data use seems to be more, no big deal really with WiFi and unlimited but still just another thing to slow down my phone if I’m multitasking apps….Update - 8/16. Yeah this app is truly terrible. Cannot see anything without an ad wall Temu ad, close and refresh app? Watch Temu ad. Severe weather alerts? See a Temu ad before we let you know! Then video forecasts have yet more ads! Forecast isn’t that reliable, the radar is absolutely junk, I deleted it. Seems like this is the Graham Media Group corporate app with the associated ads for revenues. Do yourself a favor, delete this piece of trash…

I downloaded this app. Used it a handful of times. Immensely impressed! A message popped this last time to review it. I hit close by accident. So I specifically came back to the App Store to give it a 5 star rating! So thorough, easy to use and the best part, is the straight forward language used. They don’t use the technical language meteorologists use! I would probably have to use a dictionary to use this app if that was the case! 😆 ‼️Also, please don’t change the app‼️Maybe the colors could be “jazzed” up a tad, but otherwise devs, well done! 👍
I don’t know about this update

The newest update changed the formatting of the app. While the changes may work for some people, people like me, who have been grateful for this apps simplicity, are likely to be disappointed. I find that this version is harder to navigate. Instead of having the menu on the side, it is near the bottom, and instead of having multiple sub-sections, this version requires you to scroll down to find some of the accessories. If this sounds wonderful to some people, I’m happy to hear that they can continue using this app comfortably. If I am not mistaken, there were about the same amount of bugs in both versions. I noticed that when you go to type in another location, I was unable to see the word as I was typing. This may have just been an issue with my phone, but if that happened to you, you’re not alone.Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
