NotifyEM Manager is an iPad app to create informative maps for emergency-related communications. This map-based information can then be transmitted to other iOS devices that are subscribed to the service.
Features:
- Users can draw areas and lines, and place text and various symbols on the maps. The app makes it easy to communicate things that otherwise would be very difficult to explain in a text or voice message. For example, users can instantly understand an irregularly shaped evacuation zone when they see it on a map and can easily decide whether they are in the affected zone affected or not.
- The map annotations (drawings, text) are customizable: color, shape, line width, symbol rotation. Images and voice recordings can also be attached NotifyEM Manager.
- Notification Channels serve the purpose of directing notifications only to those who subscribe to a channel. For example, if a Police Department creates its channel, subscribers can opt in to receive any communication issued through that channel.
