Great DXF viewer for quick CAD file review

I opened a DXF file successfully with this tool, and it worked perfectly for adding markups and measuring areas on my drawing. The interface is easy to understand, and the tools are very useful. The trial version only allows opening one file, but that was enough for my current project. When I need to work with more DXF files in the future, I will definitely subscribe.

I have a tool that can read dwg files but dxf files, so the mainly reason I purchased this tool is to read dxf files. And thankfully, it supports viewing both of them, I think I can only use this DXF View only in the future.
I gave it a try just in case it worked.

I saw the 1-star reviews, but figured I'd give it a try. I wanted to use this to quickly view very simple burnout files in DXF format, exported from AutoCAD in native AutoCAD R12 format (a very old format). Just lines, arcs, circles, and polylines. This couldn't open some of them, and had missing geometry in others. I tried some newer AutoCAD DXFs, and those didn't work either.The developer replied that I could get a refund from Apple. He didn't ask for any kind of debug info, so I wouldn't count on this app getting any better.

I guess I should have taken the name literally – it views, but not much else. True, it says it exports as a PDF, but it doesn't appear to be vector, so there's not much you can do with it other than look at it. Granted, if you need to see what a dxf file looks like, and that's it, this is the app for you. If you need any more functionality, you may want to look elsewhere. I suppose for just 5 bucks I shouldn't have expected much. Kind of like a peak inside the tent, but no admitance to the circus.
