Wonderful idea but doesn't work very well.

Hebrew Bible Student
I really like the way this program is set up but the features don't work very well. Sometimes the audio piece doesn't work and sometimes the translation is way off. For example, the Hebrew word Shabbat is translated as the word name. When I followed up with tech support, here's the response I got.----------------I'll put this on my to do list, but I don't expect to work on it any time soon, because I have many other things to work on.Regards,Shai

I really like the way this program is set up but the features don't work very well. Sometimes the audio piece doesn't work and sometimes the translation is way off. For example, the Hebrew word Shabbat is translated as the word name. This is the best app for learning Hebrew without a doubt. What sets this one apart is that you can tap on a word and it will say the word syllable by syllable plus give you the English translation, or you can choose you the option of continuous audio reading. You can speed it up or slow it way down. I’ve never found a Hebrew Bible app where you can tap on a word and it will say only that word without it progressing. It’s perfect.

Good concept but the Hebrew pronunciation is rough. Each book must be paid for. $1.99 doesn’t seem like much but times that by 39 books if you want the whole thing. Maybe if the quality of speech were better, the app better executed, maybe it would be worth it but that’s not the case.
