You can now move text notes to different rows if you need to! When editing the note, tap the '↑↓' in the title bar and you'll be guided through moving your note (and any others that are part of its repeating group). Also fixed a few crashes, especially for iCloud sync.

Knitamus now supports iPad multitasking, so you can have your knitting in one part of the screen and any other app alongside it. Also includes visual improvements for iOS 15 and a couple bug fixes for the chart repeat editor.

Knitamus has an Apple Watch app again! This time, it runs independently of the phone app and uses your iCloud account to share data with your other devices. You can also use it as a simple counter without iCloud. Plus bug fixes for the main app: - crash fix in the chart repeat editor specific to some iPhone sizes - tapping "done" when you've entered a repeat count in the chart repeat editor will now dismiss the keyboard instead of dismissing the whole editor

Small improvement to sync, handling edge case with Ravelry and iCloud sync together.

Updates to improve syncing with Ravelry and iCloud together and to make sync logs easier to email. Set the status bar content to dark so that it is easier to read. Fixed an issue where the current pattern page in the chart window might not carry over between launches. Fixed an issue where the notes area could be slightly too small when the project first opened. Fixed an issue where the highlight might not be in the right place when the project first opened. Fixed an issue where pieces without names were always labeled "First Piece". Now they show the correct number!

A few key bug fixes: Fixes an issue where the all notes and all chart rows editors could have their information disappear if scrolled too far too fast. The infinite scroll illusion is a little less smooth, but notes and charts don't do that very unsettling (even if temporary) vanishing act anymore. Fixes an issue where tapping "Show Sync Logs" on the iPad wouldn't do anything. Adding a note in the all notes editor and then backing out without typing anything no longer leaves an empty note hanging around. And some helpful updates: The Help option in Settings now goes to the dedicated Knitamus Guide page instead of to the Knitamus promo page. Shows placeholder text "Name This Project" in the titlebar of the working view when a project has no name yet. Tap that to name or rename the project. (The date the project was created will still show in place of its name on the main projects screen.) The photo context menu (touch and hold a photo in the project details view) now includes an option to view information on where a photo is being fetched from if it hasn't been fetched yet.

This major release offers a new look, with more contrast and larger fonts for easier reading, as well as a more responsive layout that takes full advantage of the iPad's larger screen. I hope you love it! Working with patterns and charts is now much easier. It's easier to choose the pages you want to use, easier to set highlights for many rows at once, easier to create, visualize and edit repeats. Best of all, you will never again get a pop up asking if you might be repeating something! Text notes are better, too, and now have their own area of the screen instead of being inside the counter button. Repeating notes have a visual indicator of where you are in the repeat cycle. The overview of all notes is easier to understand and use. Sync has also been completely rewritten and many bugs fixed. The new system also means it will be easier to diagnose and fix additional problems that may crop up, so definitely let me know if you run into any trouble. You now have more control over your Ravelry connection. You can choose to sync all your projects or just your works in progress and you can change whether the Knitamus badge shows on your profile at any time. Keeping the screen on while you’re knitting is now an optional feature (available in the Settings tab). Finally, the watch app has been removed until it can be rewritten to fit the new sync system. Naming patterns is easier. Patterns now automatically get a name based on the name of the imported file. And you now get a chance to change the name as soon as the import finishes, instead of having to go to the Patterns tab. Sync improvements for patterns. Crash fix for one rare sync case.

Knitamus now handles Hibernating and Frogged Ravelry projects! There is not yet a way to set those statuses inside of Knitamus, but if you set them on the Ravelry website, you will see them displayed in Knitamus. You can now quickly view your whole pattern pdf. Double tap the chart window to see the current pattern, or go to the patterns tab and tap one of the page images for the pattern you want to view. Stitch Library! Quickly copy text notes and repeats into your projects. A few standard stitches are included to get you started and you can also add your own. New tab bar navigation is pretty to look at and should make things easier to find. The button to add a new project is now in the upper right of the screen rather than as a placeholder in the collection of patterns. Fixes a crash that sometimes happened when pulling new projects in from Ravelry.

Fixes a problem where sometimes the chart image wouldn't change even though a different page had been set up for the current piece and row.

Bug fix — chart repeats should no longer show up in the Pinned Positions list after you've deleted them.

See your saved positions all at once! Tapping "Edit" (to the upper right of your chart window) will take you to a visual display of all the positions saved for this window. Tapping one of the items in the list will take you to the chart repeat edit screen. Apple Watch bug fix: Fixes problem where counter updates from the watch would not be saved by the phone unless you quit the phone app before using the watch app.

Apple Watch fixes: - fix for problem where changes to your row counter wouldn't always be saved in the main app if the main app was open in the background while you were using your watch. - fix for problem where dictation of notes didn't recognize numbers less than 10 (because they were written out as words by dictation instead of as digits) - if you have your project open on your iPhone and update the row counter with your watch, you should now see the counter on your iPhone update immediately.

What if your watch could keep track of your knitting? Let's try it! Knitamus 2.1 includes an extension for Apple Watch. On Apple Watch, you can work on your most recent works in progress, using the counter and viewing and adding text notes. Also, Knitamus no longer requires a subscription, but will also no longer be free to new users. Previous subscribers will automatically receive advanced features when they are added in the future as a thank you for your support. This update also fixes two minor issues in 2.0: it should no longer ask you if you're repeating something if you haven't actually moved your position from one row to the next, and a common crash should be gone.

Knitamus can now track multiple pages at once, in case you are working a chart that spans more than one page or want to refer to both the chart and written directions. Tap or drag the small tab at the lower right once you've added a page and you will be able to add another. This way you can decide which order you want things in. I hope you enjoy this new feature! Also, you might notice the calmer color scheme and less insistent "Are you done?" messages. :)
