PLAN YOUR OWN ROUTE
Draw a route, drag its waypoints and check the distance before you set out. Measure distances, bearings and areas on the map, then save the plan or start navigating straight from the planner. With PRO and a connection, Lokimaps can also calculate walking, cycling or driving routes along trails and roads.
TAKE IT OFFLINE
Download your trip area before you go. Without mobile data, you still see your GPS position, follow saved routes and tracks, head for saved places and record your journey.
FIND YOUR WAY THERE AND BACK
Follow a planned route or imported GPX track, or get direct guidance to a saved place like your car or camp. See the distance remaining, get an alert if you leave the route and reverse it for the trip back. On supported devices, a Live Activity shows navigation progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
REMEMBER WHERE YOU'VE BEEN
Record GPS tracks and review trip statistics. Save campsites, fishing spots and other places worth returning to, then organize places, routes and tracks into folders. Import and export GPX, and turn on iCloud sync to keep saved items on your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Search places, addresses and coordinates. Enter or copy coordinates in WGS84, UTM, MGRS and national grids for Finland and Sweden. Adjust GPS accuracy to balance precision and battery life.

Good to know: online search, route calculation and location sharing need a connection. Apple road and satellite maps, historic maps and custom map sources can't be downloaded for offline use. Image layers stay on the device where you add them. Map and layer coverage varies by source. Nautical charts are for reference, not navigation. Background GPS use can reduce battery life.
