CHOOSE YOUR OWN SAFEST PLACE TO STORE PASSWORDS & PASSKEYS
Enpass believes your data belongs to you. Instead of keeping everyone’s passwords on a central server like most password managers, with Enpass YOU choose where your encrypted vaults are stored and synced.
● Enpass works with iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline.
● And with support for storing and syncing passkeys across devices, Enpass is ready for the password-less future.
WHY ENPASS IS SAFER
● Most password managers store every user’s vaults in their own central server, making a tempting single target for hackers
But with Enpass, hackers would have to
- Target you personally
- Know which cloud services you’ve chosen for your vaults
- Have the credentials to those cloud accounts
- Get past each account's multi-factor authentication
- And know your Enpass master password
● Enpass also includes password audit & breach monitoring — user-friendly tools to help keep you safe
WHY ENPASS IS BETTER
● Store and sync passkeys — ready for the password-less future
● Unlimited vaults — completely separate work passwords from personal, and more
● Wildly customizable — make your own templates, categories, and tags to organize your credentials and private files

Good but...

The app has awesome potential but here are a few shortcomings I’ve immediately noticed: 1) When shift-clicking to select multiple records then hitting “delete,” all the selected records are NOT deleted, thus forcing you to select/delete each record individually, a tedious process if you have a couple HUNDRED records do delete. Why do I have HUNDREDS of records to delete? Because the import feature (to import a .CSV file created by WinOrganizer) imported hundreds of records titled “NO NAME,” which as their names suggest, don’t have a name/contain no data. 2) Another thing, when I open a record & size it just so to display all the fields (including notes) then I edit/close that record/open another record, the subsequent records default to the unsized view/the notes field isn’t visible/I have to resize every record I open, to display the notes field. I wish it would remember the size/dimensions of the last record closed/saved & open all records based on that size/dimensions. 3) The imported records that correctly migrated with the record name, does NOT contain any info (e-mail, password, URL, etc.) that was in the exported CSV file, thus forcing me to copy all that data, individually, for each record. If these shortcomings could be resolved, I’d love to be able to give a 5 star rating. Thanks for making the product free! Update: 4) When trying to MOVE records (from the “Login” category to a new category I created called “Archives,” the item is COPIED, not moved, i.e., it remains visible in both places/I wish it would only appear in the “Archives” folder/category, not both. 5) Quite oddly/unexpectedly, if you delete the record from 1 place, it is deleted from both places/categories; 6) when using enPass on a MacBook air, it does NOT recognize iOS keyboard shortcuts
Probably the best password manager for the Mac

After so many years of using 1Password, and getting frustrated with them moving to their private server, I easily transferred my data to Enpass using their import tool and have been a happy user for more than two years. I have not had a significant issue, and literally none in the past year. It is reliable, have all the features I need, and sync with iCloud (no private server). As more and more password managers move to private servers for different reasons, Enpass remians committed to iCloud sync (thank you guys!). The only issue I have with the developer (actully 2) is they have previously nagged me to give them my email address (not usre if this is the case for new users) which since this is a one time payment app I have to assume they sell my contact info to generate extra income (did not give it to them). The other issue, which is related to the first one, is I like to see them adopt the subscription moodel so I am auured they keep updating the app, keeping iCloud sync, and not having to rely on selling user info (and I am only speculating here) to support their income. There are many apps on the app store that I previously bought but never got an update and now useles. An update does not have to be adding new, probably useless, features but definately security patches, compatibility with new Mac releases, and may be updating the skin (look and feel) and keeping the app stable and as bug-free as possible. Not much to ask for, but worth the subscription for me (especially for essential apps).

I’ve been using Encase Password Manager for a bit now, and it feels like finally handing my chaotic pile of passwords over to a very organized, slightly paranoid librarian 🗝️📚Setup was quick—importing passwords didn’t feel like a tech archaeology dig, which is already a win. The vault interface is clean, almost minimalist to the point where it doesn’t try to distract you with bells and whistles. Just you, your credentials, and a quiet sense of “please stop reusing the same password everywhere.”Daily use is smooth. Autofill works reliably most of the time, and generating strong passwords is basically a one-click personality upgrade for your security habits. The syncing across devices has been stable, which is honestly where a lot of managers fall apart. That said, it’s not trying to be flashy or overly feature-heavy. If you’re looking for deep customization, identity tools, or a whole cybersecurity dashboard ecosystem, you might feel a bit boxed in. It’s more “do the core job very well” than “do everything imaginable.”Overall: it’s a calm, competent vault for your digital life. Not dramatic, not noisy—just quietly making your password situation less of a recurring crisis.
I just love Enpass!!!

I’ve tried them all and I simply think this is the best. Not only do you not have to pay monthly/yearly fees, this is also the best feature wise. Enpass has finally made me feel comfortable enough to actually forget all my passwords. I changed all of my online accounts to passwords I don’t know. Every account is different, and super long and complex. I just autofill with the browser plugin or copy and paste from the main app or mobile app. Plus with the built in 2 factor authenticator, I can use Enpass for all my authentication needs. I enabled 2 factor for everything that supports it because of this app! I love the way Enpass can automatically copy the 2 factor OTP for you so when you are presented with a 2FA box on a website, you just paste! No looking at your phone, no manual copy and paste, it’s just there, waiting in the clipboard. I also love syncing to my cloud of choice. I just use iCloud, the app stays in sync seemlessly across all of my devices.I honestly think this one is a night and day difference from the other password managers out there. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
Enpass has been redesigned with a modern interface, cleaner layouts, and streamlined workflows. This update builds on that foundation with fixes and stability improvements based on feedback from you.
Here's what's been fixed:
- Enpass now delivers a smoother experience when unlocking the app, closing the window using the red button, or quitting the app.
- Minor bug fixes and improvements.
