5.16.0 Mar 16
FEATURES AND CHANGES
• A refreshed Teamwire look
Teamwire now comes with a refreshed brand identity, bringing a more modern and consistent look across the app.
• Improved chat filters in the Inbox
The Inbox now comes with a refreshed design for chat filters.
In addition, Favourites, Unread, and Archived tabs now display a counter showing how many unread chats are inside each section.
The result is a clearer, more informative Inbox that helps you stay on top of your conversations at a glance.
• Alerts are now harder to miss
We’ve extended the duration of Alert notifications' sound so that critical messages get the attention they deserve.
From now on, Alert notifications will play for up to 30 seconds (or until you open the app). This change makes them even more noticeable when it really matters.
• Circles can now be added to your Lists
From now on, you can add entire Circles to your personal Lists, not just individual members.
This makes it much easier to prepare for group conversations when you regularly work with the same teams or departments.
• Clearer visibility of Lists and Circles
The Directory now shows the number of members in each List and Circle directly in the overview, making it easier to understand group size at a glance, without opening each one individually.
This improvement also applies when adding members to a group chat.
• Improved member management in group chats
The Members section in group chat settings has been enhanced to make managing large chats easier and more efficient.
You’ll now find a search bar, allowing you to quickly search for specific users or Circles within the chat, especially useful when you need to confirm whether someone is already part of a large group.
In addition, new member filters make it easier to navigate between All, Admins, Circles, and Bots, providing a clearer and more pleasant browsing experience.
Finally, the Members section now shows the total number of members in the chat. If a user is added both individually and through a Circle, they are counted only once, giving you a more accurate overview of the actual number of participants.
• “Role” has been renamed to “Job title”
As part of a refreshed design of the user profile section, the field previously called “Role” has been renamed to “Job title”.
• More media sharing enhancements
When editing a photo, you can now add multiple text layers.
In addition, when using the camera, you can now take photos using the new camera control button available on iPhone 16 and newer devices.
These enhancements make creating, editing, and sharing visual content quicker and more expressive, right when collaboration matters.
• Updated Omnissa Workspace ONE SDK (formerly VMware) to version 26.01
• Updated Ivanti AppConnect SDK to version 5.4.0
FIXES
• During login, the automatic backend selection could choose an incorrect address, blocking the fallback to the Teamwire Cloud and preventing a successful login.
• Fixed a rare case where opening the app from a push notification could delay the display of new messages.
We'll keep delivering big enhancements, so keep an eye out and make sure to keep updating your app to enjoy all the latest benefits.

FEATURES AND CHANGES
• Emoji reactions & engagement insights
You can now react to any message with an emoji, which provides a quick and expressive way to share feedback or emotion without interrupting the flow. Expressing yourself is now faster and easier than ever. It’s perfect for showing support, agreement, or just having a little fun.
React to a message by simply double-tapping or long-pressing it and then selecting the perfect emoji.
Alongside emojis, you can now access the new detailed reactions report to see engagement per message. Want to thank everyone who reacts to a message? It’s simple and fast: You can instantly create a group chat with everyone who used a specific reaction, or even with those who haven’t reacted yet.
These improvements make team communication more dynamic, help you identify engagement at a glance, and follow up effortlessly when action is needed.
This feature will be rolled out gradually across all app platforms in the coming months.
• Detect and interact with phone numbers
When a phone number is shared in a chat, Teamwire now automatically detects it and displays it as an interactive link. Tapping on the number opens a dialog with quick actions, such as calling, adding to contacts, or copying it.
• Minimize video calls and keep using the app
You can now minimize active video calls and continue using Teamwire without interruption. Keep talking while you check other chats, send messages, or browse your conversations.
This update improves multitasking and makes collaboration during calls smoother and more flexible.

5.14.0 12/11/2025
FEATURES AND CHANGES
• “what3words” locations
We now support clickable what3words.com links in Teamwire chats!
what3words divides the world into a grid of 3 metre squares, each identified by a unique combination of three words. This makes it easy to communicate precise locations without relying on long latitude/longitude coordinates.
From this release, when someone shares a what3words address in a chat, Teamwire will automatically detect it and turn into a link, which will lead to your external browser on the “what3words” map. This makes sharing and navigating to exact locations faster, easier, and less error-prone.
• Media Sharing Enhancements
We recently gave media sharing inside the app a big upgrade. Now we’ve polished the design and usability so capturing, editing, and sending media feels easier than ever.
• Sharing made easier
Previously, you could only share one photo or file at a time from another app to Teamwire app. With this update, you can now select and send up to 10 files at once, making sharing much faster and more convenient.
• Clearer Profile editing with LDAP
Profile info provided by the LDAP sync cannot be edited by users. From now on, these data fields are visually labelled as non-editable in the “Edit Profile” section, with a banner explaining that they are managed centrally by their organisation.
We have updated our video and voice call service.
A lot more subtle updates for a more reliable and pleasant experience.
