New in 4.1: share the max roll and pitch of every drive as an image, on redesigned dials, with eight background colors and true black at night.
See your vehicle tilt, in 3D.
3pLevel shows your vehicle's roll and pitch while you drive: a 3D vehicle that leans with the real angles, so you can tell at a glance how far you are from the limit on a side slope or a steep climb.
3D, your way
• Two views, one from behind for roll and one from the side for pitch, or one large vehicle
• Choose the paint color of the 3D vehicle
• Prefer pictures? Pick an illustration, a silhouette that turns red past your limit, or a photo of your own vehicle with the background removed for you
Alerts you can't miss
• A red flash and a sound when roll or pitch passes your limit
• A gap alert when the angle changes suddenly
• See the steepest roll and pitch you reached on the trail
• Dials with your inclination limit in red and your max inclination in blue
Your max inclination, ready to share
• Tap Start when you set off and Finish at the end: the drive's max roll and pitch, with its time
• Share your max inclination as an image on social media or with friends: on a drawn slope, a trail photo, or a photo of your own
• Reopen your last drive's max and share it later
Made for the car
• Set the level once with the phone in its holder; 3pLevel remembers it and asks again if the phone has moved
• Degrees or % (grade)
• Portrait or landscape, with an orientation lock
• Light, dark or automatic, with large readouts, eight background colors and true black in dark mode
• In English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch
3pLevel Pro
• Import your own vehicle: a 3D scan made with your iPhone, or a model from the web (USDZ or OBJ)
• iPhone and iPad, in any window size next to your maps

I needed an inclinometer for my Jeep. After reading the reviews for several similar apps, I chose 3pLevel Pro. The description for the says it is minimalistic and they are not kidding. First it is not accurate. Second there is not a way for the user to initiate recalibration in order to improve accuracy. In fairness at one point at one point an option to recalibrate appeared but just as quickly was gone. Now that I need it there is no option to for me to initiate it. Third the help option only tells what the switches in the preferences panel are for. The titles for the switches are self explanatory so the information provided by the help option does not really provide any benefit. If I could get my money back I would.
• Tap Start when you set off and Finish at the end: your max roll and pitch for the drive, ready to share. Off in Settings > Drives.
• Share your max inclination as an image on social media or with friends: on a drawn slope, a trail photo, or a photo of your own.
• Redesigned dials: a ring with your inclination limit in red and your max inclination in blue.
• New background colors: Snow, Sand, Clay, Moss, Sky, Slate, Graphite and Night. Your previous color moved to the closest one; change it in Settings > Background colour.
• True black in dark mode, easier on the eyes at night.
