Have been playing this game for years. I liked the original graphics much more than the current ones; they seemed less ‘cartoonish’ but I guess it doesn’t affect the play. Some holes are still a challenge to get par or less. Don’t start this game if you are easily frustrated. I give it 4 stars only because of the number of ads, but since it’s free, they need to profit from it somehow.
Lots of great updates, but still room for improvement

My gripes are not enough to say this is a 3 or 4 star game. This is certainly a 5 star game: great graphics, easy to learn, easy to play and addictive. There are lots of levels, and lots of ways to earn coins and get upgrades but in the end there are a few issues that make certain aspects unplayable. For one the tournament has a HUGE issue. If the other player fails to make a turn in the time allotted the game doesn’t forfeit the shot to the next player, it hangs there until the player makes the shot regardless. This allows players to abuse the system and force the other player to resign. If they would fix this bug so that the turn goes to the next player if the player doesn’t act in time, then that would fix that issue. Also power ups for the tournament are not showing up if you don’t have energy. If I am not mistaken the rules say you get 3 free power ups, so I don’t understand why I am not seeing them. I would say you should have separate arenas: one where each player gets 3 power ups and another where they don’t. Or have certain arenas have crazy rules. For example, Hole in One arena, where the only way you win is a hole in one. Or scramble arena, where each player can make two shots and they can choose the shot they want. Another thing is that the game hangs when you run out of lives in the regular play. It would also be nice if it easier to make energy. Right now, that’s a really hard one to come by, unless I am missing something. Otherwise, this is objectively a 5 star game.
Fatal flaw ruins game

I used to like this game so much. The closest to the flag and race games were so fun. I also liked using the fire ball because of the fire on the ball, and how it moves. However, there is a fatal flaw in this game that made me very angry. Level 107 in the course mode is impossible to get 3 stars. There are no lives, and even if you do get a hole in one, you get one star. It is one of the hole in one levels. I think that level has a glitch. Considering the developers haven't responded to a review and hasn't updated the game in 4 years, this probably will never be fixed. This is stupid because I wanted to get three stars on all levels too, but that is impossible now. I guess I have to delete this too. Not only that, but when I got the infinite boosters from the daily rewards, I still have only 2 per game. This developer can't make a good game. Even their other game is trash too. Stay away from this developer!!!

After the last update I am not even able to play matches with anyone anymore. It was a good game before the update it was just semi boring because there were no new items I was able to get. I really love the game, but I wished more stuff was added in the shops. And the new maps are buggier, in the last one if you go too fast you’ll just bounce off, but in the new maps you will go right through them and off the edge. About what I said about matchmaking, before when I joined matches it would take like 10-40 seconds to get into a match, in this version I can’t even join one. I was able to for the first 4 days of the update, then after that it stopped letting me. When I would join it would keep spamming the screen as if I was joining over an over, then restarting my queuing. This is frustrating since all I want to do is play with other people. Please fix this, thank you.
