Master Spas has revolutionized the swimming experience again with the only App in the industry that controls your swim, and tracks your progress. This amazing app works with any iPad and converts your swim spa into a swimming version of a treadmill. SNAPP works with the Swim Number System to track distance, calories, time, speed, and much more. It also allows you to manage your workout history by storing workouts for future reference. You can then post to social media, email, or just be amazed by your awesomeness.
This app works only with 2014 or later Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas by Master Spas and connects either Point-to-Point directly with the Swim Spa’s sophisticated equipment, your home Wi-Fi network, or even the Cloud. The Cloud allows you to connect to your swim spa from anywhere in the world that you have internet access. Cloud connection is free for the first 12 months, and a small fee is required after that period if you choose to continue with cloud coverage. If you decide not to use the Cloud feature, no problem. Your app will still connect to your swim spa when it is within range.
In addition to the great control/workout technology built into this intuitive app, we have also brought expert aquatic professionals to you. When you connect SNAPP to a swim spa, you will receive access to industry experts Bob Bowman, Dr. Rick McAvoy, Ben Gilliam and Karen DiPietro through the video workout section of SNAPP. Every time I am on the Spa portion of the app, the demo warning pop up keeps coming up over and over until I want to just stop using it. I have to click on connect every time that pop up comes up and then i have to back out because all the controls go blank. The other thing is every time you turn the app on you have to go thru the hypothermia warning. There should be a way to turn that off after you have seen it 100 times. I also have to stand by my back door before I can even connect to the spa. This app needs some major overhaul.

Frankly this app and the associated hardware, manufactured by Balboa Water Group for Master Spas is, at best, the most unstable unreliable product I have ever had to work with. Between the poor quality wifi connectvity, the difficult to operate “touch” screen, and the software either crashing, freezing, or simply unable to connect, its pretty much a total waste of effort beyond just operating the swing functions spaside. TOTAL CRAPWARE!

I waited for over a year for the SNAPP app to be updated and available. And then it was updated and available (on ipad only) and for the month or so that it worked and allowed me to do things like heat the spa from work so that I could jump right in when I got got home) and now, not so much. Sometimes, it works, sometimes it doesn’t. MS really shouldn’t use it in their marketing materials if the app isn’t stable. Please fix.

The app simply does not work. We can establish a direct connection to the swimspa server and control basic spa functions but the SwimNumber app refuses to work with a custom user or work-out. After creating the user and workout, then selecting it, the app resets to the default user. It has never worked properly once.
