With this version, we’ve added a new grid overlay to help you better frame your subject for videos that will be used in portrait (9:16) format, alongside other user interface and functional bug fixes.

This update delivers a rebuilt pairing experience for LiveU Central invitations, backed by infrastructure upgrades, along with general bug fixes and performance improvements.

With this version, controlling the bit rate limit can now be done from LiveU Central while the smartphone is transmitting. It also includes bug fixes for the Store & Forward and File Upload use cases, as well as improved transfer speeds for forwarding files.

This version brings multiple bug fixes and infrastructure improvements that will provide better stability when uploading multiple files from the phone gallery, when using Audio Connect / IFB and also a better compatibility with the latest LiveU servers versions.

Version 10 introduces the option to join Audio Rooms during video transmission, keeping you in sync with your entire production team. We've also improved the metadata flow from LU Smart to LiveU Ingest, and unit details are now displayed for your recordings.

With this version, videos recorded by LiveU Ingest from LU Smart will now display the relevant interlaced or progressive metadata. File upload speed is significantly faster, with no limitations in the app, depending solely on your phone’s capabilities and the available total bandwidth.

Starting with this LU Smart version, together with LiveU Central version 10.3, you will be able to get video return feeds directly into the app. Just choose a video return channel from LiveU Central and press start. The feed will be displayed in the app as picture-in-picture together with your camera preview, and you can move the frame, swap the sources, and stop the video return feed. LU Smart version 9.0 includes bug fixes for Store & Forward sessions transmitted from iPhones running iOS 17.  Also, files created in Live & Store or Store Only sessions can now be played using both VLC Media Player and Windows Media Player.

With this version we improved the remote control capabilities. The bandwidth used for a LU-Smart transmission can now be controlled remotely from LiveU Central. We are also displaying now the selected encoding type in the unit control panel from the unit list and we fixed a user interface bug visible when the smartphone is in light mode.
