This is not the problem that’s preventing you from connecting your camera to your phone so I don’t know why it sends you to permission settings. REAL SOLUTION: 1. Have your camera on WI-FI Mode 2. Go to WI-FI settings on your phone 3. Look for the SSID of your camera (shown on camera screen in WI-FI Mode) under "Other Networks" 4. Enter the password shown below the SSID Should be connected now, you have to go to WI-FI Mode on your camera and go to WI-FI settings on your phone and connect again, however, it should be saved under "My Networks" on your phone so you won’t need the password unless you refresh it on your camera.

This app makes downloading your picture so easy! The first time is a little tricky but after you connect the camera to the phone the first time the phone will remember the WiFi and it will show up anytime when the camera is in WiFi mode. To connect the camera to your phone the first time you need to put the camera in WiFi mode and then go on your phone and go on settings and click WiFi then go to the network section that shows all the WiFi’s and click “other’s” then type the name of the Kodak WiFi and the password that shows up on the camera screen. After that the camera will be connected. Then later times when you turn the camera on WiFi mode the WiFi will be suggested and you just click on it and it will be connected. It’s so easy after the first connection. And when the phone is connected you can see what the camera sees from your phone and take pictures from your phone. Genuinely love this app!

Okay to the Einsteins that don’t comprehend how to connect the camera to the app. Turn the camera knob to WiFi mode. It gives you a password. Go to WiFi on your phone, tablet whatever you are using. Look for the PIXPRO WiFi address. Take your finger and tap it. It will ask you for the password. Take your finger and type the password and then click connect. Presto the camera will be connected with the app. Now on the app on the upper right corner there is two icons, one on the right is a phone icon. To the left of it is a camera icon. If you click the camera icon it will show you the pictures on your camera that you can download to your phone pic gallery. From the camera icon you can also work the camera remotely from your phone and the app. I understand some people are not tech savvy but this system is quite elementary.

Trashed the instructions. They do not help. But this does connect to WiFi. Go to your settings > WiFi > it “should” show up the list IF you go into WiFi mode on the camera at the same time > select pixpro in the WiFi list on your phone > enter password that shows on the camera screen > camera screen will change and say connected > app on phone will also give message that you are connected. You should then have access to photos/videos. This may be different if you are on IOS/Android. Regardless, on your phone go into WiFi settings, at the same time on the camera go into WiFi with your mode button. Take the password from the camera screen and input that into your phone.
