This game is rigged to keep you playing and buying coins. I do understand why they rig them to make you want to pay just like people said my first few times I played great hands and then you lose so many in a row and then you get the buy coin ads whoever can't see that is either a dork and lies about putting money in it or they just want to angrily vent because they're all fixed what benefit would they have in a straight game they wouldn't make much money every game out there is pay to be better any game you have to buy a golf club or a new bat or a better car and then you win a few times and then it encourages you to buy more Spades Plus is definitely not completely random, or at least wasn't years ago and I doubt they've changed anything. In the beginning players are given sensationalized deals, this is a trend I definitely confirmed. Whether they do anything else with the cards beyond that would requite a larger sample size than I'm willing to spend in that cesspool of an environment. However, given their monetization strategy, I wouldn't put it past them at all to manipulate game outcomes to promote spending.

So I left two bad reviews on this app before. Gave it a third chance. I played. I actually finally won two or three hands in normal spades with a partner. Was starting to change my mind about that app so I tried my luck in a knockout challenge. On the first hand I get two lousy books. Another player bids 7 and gets set. The other two players go nil and both get set. I’m sitting in the lead at 20 after the first hand yay. Here’s where it goes south. The next hand. I get two lousy books again. Another bids 7 again and gets it another nil and another 2 and gets it. Now the scores 40 me. 20 the next 0 the next and -50 the last player. Play three more hands after the scores now me 70 the next player 140 the next 120 and the last 92 I never got set. Tell me how the **** that happens if your game ain’t rigged. All I can say is. 1. 2. 3. Strikes your out. I’d give you a -5 stars if I could. Update. Tried this game again cause tech support asked me too. So I did. Don’t play this game. It never lets me win and when I should win. It lets cheats and gives others the win. Example. I played a tourney. Would of ended up in second place with 82 points. Third place would of had 81, but just as the game ends. It gives them 83 and robs me, and this has happened more than once. I’d give you a - 5 stars if I could. Thanks for ruining the game for me. Nope. I will never play your cheating rigged game again, and will continue to encourage others not too either unless they like being screwed over

First of all, very nice game. It’s vibrant, engaging, and very interactive with the gifts you can send other players. I like to play the tournaments. This review gets one star because my wallet in real life is most important to me.I thought something was weird when after I won a few games on the first day of playing, the game informed me that I could no longer make 1000 dollar (the absolute minimum) bets. I was forced into making 2500 dollar bets. Ok whatever (I conveniently began losing a lot at this point too). After a few weeks, I got an offer to get $500,000 in game for 99 cents. I say “self, what’s 1 dollar?” And I go for it. Well, one dollar is a lot when the game’s enjoyability straight up aims for the floor. My bets were forced again but this time I couldn’t bet anything less than $25,000 a game. Combine that with bad hands and I quickly ran through that half million. Again, I’m not complaining about the gameplay. I’ve worked at a casino. I’ve seen people lose it all in less than 10 minutes. But to force me to place a higher bet simply because the game can monitor my “in-game pockets” is truly a scam and a tactic to get me to pay more money and keep the cycle going. Real life casinos wouldn’t make a patron play higher bets. This is bogus and if something doesn’t change I will go on a personal crusade against this game, starting with uninstalling it from my device and closely followed with negative feedback in all spaces digital and real life.

When one starts playing, you’ll be lumped in with bots and given super hands without the game even informing you that it’s fake for the first few levels. Then the stakes increases as the amount being bet upon increases but your random partner is either a condescending veteran or a infantile newbie which will cause you to throw your device against a wall in frustration. Players will have to jump in and out of multiple matches before they feel that they are paired with another competent player. This little ritual of hopping in and out until a suitable partner gets selected can take upwards of dozens of attempts and a waste of time since even after the player is successfully matched, their newly assigned partner most likely isn’t even there which will cause the game’s AI bot to bid and play. Their bots are an absolute train wreck in terms of situational awareness and context. Another absolutely maddening feature is the nil and blind nil bid. This little gem is rigged against whoever is in the lead. Let’s say your dealt a great hand and you end up setting the opponents due to their over confidence or just terrible play. Well, behold the ultimate neutralizer of nil and blind nil which miraculously is assigned to the player that’s losing and then allows them to win the match over half the time. Wow, it’s beyond frustrating and will likely cause the player to quit playing due the game’s nature for equity. It’s like a card game designed by communists that punish the successful players.
