I’ve tried quite a few banks in my area, even high profile banks and such. Chime is the best I’ve come across in all my years. I was constantly being charged overdraft fees but wasn’t even aware of it before. With chime, whenever I get charged for anything they notify me; Make sure the transaction is approved. They don’t charge you an overdraft fee, instead they just cover a certain amount of the bill for you, no fees or anything. There’s option to automatically save some of your paycheck, and to round up your purchases into savings as well so you can save while actively spending. It’s incredibly easy to find account info, as your banking AND card info is available on the app with just a simple click (and, Face ID of course to verify it’s you). The referral program is also incredibly easy. $200 (yes, two zero zero), for a referral. $100 to you, $100 to your friend. Do I sound like a spokesperson or what?? But seriously, my friend was on the fence because she didn’t want to switch her direct deposit info over and have her bills come out. I convinced her it was worth it to get $100 for free, and that she could switch it back over to her old bank if she didn’t like it. She ended up loving it, and now all her direct deposits come through chime as well as all her bills and her rent even comes out of chime now! If you think it’s a hassle, or not worth the time or effort, I assure you it is. This is hands down the BEST banking I’ve ever had. Thank you chime!
Great bank

I really enjoy using Chime! It’s a great app to use for banking. I was skeptical about it at first, but over time it’s proven itself. There are only 3 minor setbacks that i can name— The only issues I’ve had at this point is that it’s hard to get in contact with an actual person, being that there are no physical branches to go to; however i have no yet had an issue that couldn’t be resolved. Also, sometimes that ATMs that are available to retrieve cash with no fee from are an inconvenience to get to since you’re only allowed to get money from certain banks (without having to pay the convenience fee that can be up to 5 bucks depending on where you go). To get around that hassle i typically try to get cash back when i go shop in a store if i need the paper money actually in my hand. One other thing is that if you use the app to transfer money to a different bank account it takes like 6 days for the money to be available, which is usually more time than im willing to wait. To get around that i usually will send the money to a friend via Cash app (which is connected to my chime card), and then have them use Venmo or PayPal to it back to me (so that it deposits into my other bank). This are my 3 biggest complaints. Other than that I’ve had no real issues. The banking app itself is very well put together and makes the you could be looking for very simple. I love getting my direct deposit 2 days before pay day! I love that it’s a Visa card which is pretty much accepted everywhere. I would recommend this card to anyone.
Chime really is #1

Chime has changed my life in so many ways I never knew a bank could. From getting my checks earlier to there totally awesome spot me that lets you overdraft without the worry of any hidden fees. The amount grows in time and it don’t take long at all. They even have and additional get your check earlier where it allows you to get up to 500$ of your next weeks check. I don’t know how many times where I got into a hard spot and I knew that chime had my back. I’ve also learned that my credit score went from a 610 to 755 in a year of using chime. That was before I even used chime credit builder. Chime is all around a great bank I have had them for 5 years now and they keep coming up with ways to surprise me. They have an amazing customer support, very easy to work with very professional. I could sit here all day listing all that chime has to offer and I’m being for real. I’m not paid by chime for this review. Chime has just been there for me and I feel like I should return the favor. You won’t loose anything from trying them out. They even have referral offers. You refer a friend and they will give you and your friend 150$ sometimes more then that. Person you refer has to sign up for direct deposit through work and receive your first check on it, then money is yours. I can go on and on but I have said enough. Welcome to chime. I hope you have the same experience as I have had. Have a good day!!!

One great Online Bank. I would highly recommend to anyone who cannot open up another account with banks like TD Bank, Bank of America, PNC Bank, and more. This is a top of the line online service where you can send and receive payments from and to your cash app directly. Set up your own direct deposit with your job and get paid two days in advance during your pay week. What they will do is just take your pending deposit from your employer once they put the payroll in the system. Then they will deposit your funds straight into your bank account. You are also eligible for up to 100$ in overdraft deposit amount but, you just can’t take the money off your card if the account overdrafts. You can only spend it on the card so, let’s say if you have only 10$ left in your account and an item cost 15$ you can still use your card with overdraft protection for up to an 100& spending limit and chime bank will also notify you on and about your spending limit! When a deposit enters your card they will then take the amount of money that you overdraft your account with back from your deposit to make the balance positive again. You can also, receive 50$ referrals when you invite new contacts and friends to the bank just share your link. If both of the parties are receiving over 500$ deposit amounts set up from your job then both of you guys can receive 50$ a piece! This is one great bank and you can use the ATM’s via all 7/11 worldwide and put money on your account at all 7/11’s in the nation!
Everyone knows about Self-Care Sundays, but why stop there? You should try making self care an everyday thing. How about Fab Feet Fridays? A Lot of people neglect their feet—guys, I’m looking at you. Get a pedicure and thank me later. Or Sheet Washin’ Wednesdays? We all know the saying “clean sheets, clear minds, can’t lose.” And the most important—Tune-up Tuesdays: where you smash that Chime app update button. Because a smooth-running app is like self-care for your cash.
