Flatastic turns household chores into a simple shared routine. Whether you live with roommates, your partner, or your family, the app brings your chore chart, grocery list, bill tracker, and household notes together in one place. No more arguments about who did what.
A Chore Chart Everyone Can See
Flatastic gives your home a clear chore list that updates for everyone at once. Assign chores, set how often each one repeats, and let the app handle the chore rotation so the workload stays fair. Automatic chore reminders nudge each person when their turn comes around, so nothing gets forgotten and nobody has to play the nag.
Weekly chores, daily chores, one time tasks, the monthly deep clean. Build the chore schedule that matches how your household actually lives.
Chore Tracker for Families
Parents use Flatastic as a kids chore chart that works without printouts or stickers falling off the fridge. Kids see their own chores, check them off, and everyone can follow along. Splitting family chores stops being a daily conversation and becomes something the app keeps track of.
Chore List for Roommates
Shared flats run on fairness. Flatastic shows exactly which household chores were done, by whom, and when. The chore tracker keeps a running record so cleaning duties stay balanced between roommates over time.
Shared Grocery List
Avoid double purchases and last minute runs to the store. The synchronized grocery list keeps everyone informed about what is needed at home, with live updates as items get added and ticked off.
Bill Tracker for Transparent Finances
Track shared expenses without spreadsheets. The built in bill organizer records who paid for what and what each person still owes. Simple, transparent, and quick to settle.
Pinboard for Household Communication
Share notes, reminders, and upcoming plans in one shared space. Useful for everything that does not fit on the chore list but still needs to reach everyone at home.
Why Flatastic?
Built specifically for shared living, Flatastic combines chore management, grocery planning, and expense tracking in one app. Your household chores stay organized whether you are at home, at work, or on the go.

I rarely write reviews - but credit where credit is due! This app literally changed our lives. We went from bickering about chores and a less than tidy home to a well oiled machine where our house is always clean. I am not kidding. But with that said, it’s not all the app - I think the people using it have to be committed to living virtuous lives, and we are family, not sure how if it would be the same with housemates. Still, for us, it was a total game changer. Being in the U.S., one frustrating issue with the app is that it doesn’t keep track of time properly. We have a ton of chores set up and they always jump ahead to the next day too soon. I spend time each morning and evening adjusting each chore individually. Yes it’s a hassle but I cheerfully do it because that’s how great this app has been for us. We are using the free version.

Hey! Thank you for your kind message! We are working on improving how chore notifications are sent based on the user's time zone. Stay tuned for app updates! BR Carlos
Really good app, but could be even better!

My fiancee and I started using this app because I have ADHD and have trouble completing tasks that are not urgent/don’t have deadlines attached. Flatastic is great because it reminds me that tasks are “due” — like when it’s been a week since we cleaned the bathroom mirror, so it’s time to do that again. There are a couple things that would make it even better, though: 1. A widget for iPhone Home Screen. I already put the app on the first page of my Home Screen so i constantly see it and am constantly reminded that i have things to do, but it would be even better to have a widget to remind me WHAT those things are. “You have 3 things to do” is great, but “you have 3 tasks due today: - do laundry- do dishes- vacuum” … would be even better.2. Shared tasks. Most tasks we do independently, but some (like folding laundry and changing sheets) we do together. For now, we just alternate who gets credit for those week-by-week, but to be able to assign tasks to BOTH of us and have BOTH of us get credit for them would be amazing. Overall, great app! Can’t wait to see it get even better in the future :)

Thanks for the feedback. Glad Flatastic is helping with task reminders. A Home Screen widget showing specific due tasks is noted. Shared task credit for both partners has come up before too. That's a +1 on our list now.We run an agile product development process: currently finalizing custom expense splitting and working on a calendar view, so more is on the way.BR, Malik
Almost perfect

This app is a great all-in-one solution for people sharing a household. I currently live with six other people, and when everyone is just “winging it,” things can get chaotic. Before using this app, most of the chores and organizing ended up falling on my shoulders since I’m the homeowner. Having finances, chores, and the shopping list all in one place has been incredibly helpful for creating structure and accountability in the house. The one area I wish was improved is the financial tracking. Right now it operates entirely as a ledger. While that works from a technical standpoint, it can make things feel unnecessarily complicated and visually messy for people who are trying to manage a household budget. Some people may prefer the ledger style, but for me it becomes harder to follow.I really like that you can add recurring monthly bills and expenses, but I wish there was also a clearer budgeting feature that showed each person’s expected monthly contribution and any surplus or reserve funds. For example, part of my household budget includes a repair/savings reserve. Because of the way the ledger works, that money isn’t actually spent but it still affects how the numbers appear, which makes the totals look confusing. It would also be great if there were a simpler option where each roommate could just confirm something like “I paid my monthly amount of $X”, and then the system could track additional expenses or reimbursements separately if needed.A separate section specifically for house savings or reserve funds would also make budgeting much clearer.Overall, though, this is still one of the better apps I’ve found for managing a shared household.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. Glad Flatastic is bringing structure and accountability to your shared flat. The points around clearer budgeting, monthly contribution tracking, and a separate savings/reserve section are all solid ideas for improving financial management – noted and on our list.BR, Malik
Amazing App!

I really love how this app helps keep my wife and I on track and connected. It’s really easy to get caught up in the business of life and lose track of the small daily things. This app helps to keep those things from building up so we can focus more on each other. A few things I think would make this app even more useful would be the ability to adjust when a task was completed as well as have a different tracker outside of the point system. Sometimes I log something I completed a day late but it would get counted as the same day. Also, the point system can sometimes make it feel like a competition so if you had an alternative where you both are trying to reach a certain amount of points together to meet certain incentives then it may encourage more teamwork!

Thanks for the feedback. Glad Flatastic is helping with household organization and keeping you connected. Adjusting task completion dates and a cooperative points system focused on shared goals – both solid ideas, noted and on our list.BR, Malik
