I’ve been using this audio recorder for a couple months now and the thing that continues to stand out with it is really in its name itself. It is extremely easy and simple to use. It’s not an editor but instead just a really good recorder. If you’ve got a decent set up at home with a good microphone and a clean room, it’ll get great results with this. Simply ensure that the input within your system settings is set to the right microphone, and start recording. It organizes every file directly into one folder within The finder, if you’re using a Mac. And do all my editing in a separate software so not having editing abilities is not a deterrent to me personally.If you’re looking for something easy to use when recording audio, I suggest getting this one. I’ve only ever had the light version, and though it asks for me to buy the new paid for version, I’ve stuck with this one.

This app has helped me SO much in recording lectures and interviews. If you need a simple app to record a conversation or presentation, this app is all you need. Only one recommendation: It would be great if for instance I don’t want to disturb people in neighborhing rooms while I’m using this app to be able to use my headphones that comes with a microphone and be able to record my voice on the microphone and when I’m video chatting with someone, that I can still wear headphones and record the converstion. So far, I can’t wear headphones during recordings, but it’s still a great app!

Literally the best free recorder out there — you can send songs right to itunes even on the free version! I will tell everyone I know to download this. I am a student musician and got a Macbook secondhand only to found out there was no garageband on it. This has changed everything. No, it doesn’t have all the features of garageband, but I can record itunes songs and send them to my mom while I’m studying, and that means the world to me. Thank you for your existence. I do animations (it's called John and Loonof) and I couldn’t do sound because there was no voice memos or whatever app to record my voice. When I found this app I loved it. I simply just needed to record my voice then add it to the video. Although it has very little functionality because it’s a lite version, I still really loved it. Great app for people who need to add sound to anything.
