While I have finally found a way to graphically track response times on a mac, this app isn't as helpful as it looks. The graphs that it produces don't allow you to know when something happened. I was expecting to be able to at least hover over the graph and have it show a tooltip of the time and value or something. So, it can show you if something was lagging, but you don't have any way to know "when"

I've been using this utility for a very long time because it does exactly what I want - show ping times graphically and highlight ping failures. I am not sure when I last updated, but the latest version has two features that improve the app's usefulness: reordering the hosts within the UI and showing timestamps when you right click a chart. Maybe the right-click feature was there before but I just now discovered it ;-)I have one feature request: give the user the option to add a set of IPs all at once using traceroute.

I was looking for something like PingPlotter for home use. This checks all the required boxes for me. My only complaint is you can't see when an outage happened. The charts are not interactive. You can't see how long or what time the outage was for. You have to squint to see the tiny chart too and guess when the outage happened. This is a great tool for real time troubleshooting, or just to see if there's an outage in the past.

Didn't reliably scan my /24 at home, and it didn't reliably scan a /22 on a remote network for me. If I added hosts, it seemed to work just fine for me.
